After Christmas I'm starting again with mine. I'm changing the dark grey/blue corner sofa, getting rid of the Ikea bookcases and repainting the nearly white walls. Only problem is I don't know what I'm changing them all to!

I'm (probably) keeping the wooden floorboards, and definitely keeping the tiles around the fireplace.

Any ideas?

Rather than Pinterest, I suggest you look for similar houses on Rightmove. I always look at houses for sale when I’m after kitchen inspiration.

Wow I’m just amazed. I like to keep things tidy and fairly minimal but I do live in a fairly small space and there always seems to be some sort of paperwork out or bag on the floor/box that needs getting rid of. It also doesn’t help that my furniture is quite old (and not antique) and the walls haven’t been painted in a long time etc so despite the fact that I’d love a show home I just can’t achieve it. I’d like a cosy show home though. Well done to those who manage to keep this up!

Some lovely rooms, yy Rightmove I’m currently obsessing over hallways.

We have a wall of bookcases the other side of the room and loads of kids’ shite.
