I didn't even get an interview when I applied for a postperson job yet they will employ someone who pisses on gateposts?! I mean... I doubt that's an interview question but still.

Seriously... he did. I can't think what else he was doing unless he is fascinated by gatepost and was just having a good long look. We're pretty rural so it's not like anyone was passing but I was there! And he'd seen me.

He was in his van! Not carrying a bag. He reversed off the drive, stopped the car by the post, got out leaving the door open... stood by the post for a pissing length of time then got back in and drove off.

I've never felt compelled to start a thread before. My life is very boring. I post mostly under a different user name. I wanted to post something maybe identifying about autism a while ago and this username was for that. As I plan on telling real life people this particular story I decided to use this user name for this. As it happens I'm not a liar, pretty much a compulsive truth teller.

There's a million and one things he could have been doing - checking phone, changing music, checking route, arranging the next bundle of letters into ordrr...

Without a photo of the gate post with the pissy puddle, I will struggle to believe that's what he did.

Similar happened to a friend of mine - a female postworker nipped round the side of her house, squatted and did a wee. Friend reported it to the post office and a few days later she received a written apology - poor thing had a urine infection and literally couldn't hold on...

Why would he get out of his van otherwise? I've been to look. The whole area where he was stood is earth and leaf litter so no puddle. And, yes, it's been raining. The gate post is unsplashed but I still think he peed next to it. If he was walking then there might have been other things he was doing but I can't see what else he would get out of the van to do.

I'm only saying what I saw.

Christ talk about a leap! Please don't go complaining to the PO about this! You have absolutely zero proof that's what he was doing! He could have had a leg cramp or been trying to get a phone signal.
