just moved dds school bag of the settee and a bit of papers slid out, on it it says a due date, possible names and names of godparents.
now this wouldnt normally phase me as id just think it was teenage rambling EXCEPT..... ive been asking myself when shes next due on, as we have been away for 2 weeks and back now around 10 days and shes not been on during that time which got me thinking back to when i last bought her any pads and tbh i cant remember. im thinking around july time which would tie in with the due date wrote down.
shes out at the moment which may be a good thing as i dont know what the fuck to do now!!
please help me by giving some advice

I was also pregnant at school age. It has been tough work. I would be devastated if any of my teens had a baby :(

IStandWithPosie · 09/11/2018 12:37

In fact I'd go further and say it's rather rude of posters who don't come back and update, because it shows a lack of appreciation of people's help.

So people have to respond according to the “audience’s” time scale? How about considering that OP could be coping with a 14yo DD having a termination right now, Or having run away because she’s been found out? Or just sobbing and sobbing into her mum’s Shoulder because she terrified.

IStandWithPosie · 09/11/2018 12:39

There’s being judgemental and then there’s just sticking the boot in. Some of these posters are just salivating at the chance to scold OP.

Do "chat" threads get deleted after xxx amount of time?

Or is that just "30 days"

toolazytothinkofausername · 09/11/2018 15:57

I wish I knew the outcome of this thread :(

bubbles108 · 09/11/2018 16:53

I must admit I get invested in certain threads and really want the end result to be positive and happy. I'm always disappointed when there's no final answer to the OP

I don't think I'm nosy or inquiring - I'm genuinely hoping all is well.

Drivenmad80 · 09/11/2018 17:26

I agree with @bubbles108. When it's such a long involved thread I get invested and genuinely want to know that the op is ok.

UatuTheWatcher · 09/11/2018 18:24

@SubtitlesOn threads in Chat no longer are deleted after 90 days. There is now two new boards 30 days only and 90 days only I think they are called.

legolimb · 09/11/2018 18:39

Any update OP.

No advice from me - I don''t have a DD but do remember being 14 yo.

Fingers crossed all is well.

SubtitlesOn · 09/11/2018 18:51

Thank you UatuTheWatcher

The godparents bit was over-egging the pudding. What 14 year old, if they were pregnant, would write down their due date, possible names AND potential godparents? They'd be shitting themselves, not thinking about christenings ffs.

Whisky2014 · 10/11/2018 08:16

Yeh i agree

Penisbeakerismyfavethread · 10/11/2018 08:19

Who knows perverse. I sent to school with a girl who actively TTC in year 10 at high school

bobstersmum · 10/11/2018 10:19

She's probably had the baby by now...

Apologies if I am wrong

AlexaAmbidextra · 10/11/2018 13:52

She’s probably reading this and laughing at all the frothing and outraged she’s managed to stir up. 🙄

AlexaAmbidextra · 10/11/2018 13:53

Outrage, not outraged.

FrightsaidRed · 10/11/2018 15:40

Bit sad if it is from under the bridge though isn’t it. I really don’t understand why people do it, their lives must be impossibly dull to make up drama. Nonetheless this type of situation does occur often enough in real life with teen pregnancies. Recently heard a girl at a local school is pregnant aged 12. My jaw is on the floor!

SirGawain · 10/11/2018 17:24

I would think that as soon as mum broached the subject any girl that was pregnant would be grateful and relieved to pour out the whole story.

It's only been a few days I think we should give OP a chance. She may be having a difficult time and MN is the last thing on her mind

Maybe I'm just being naive 😐----
