Having Sunday lunch, today and we got talking with Ds11, about 'snitching '. He was very vocal about his dislike of snitches. He said that he knew a secret about Dh, and he wouldn't tell, as Dh wouldn't like it. After much hilarity and Dh insisting that he had no secrets from me, and that he wouldn't be at bothered if Ds shared the secret, Ds blurts out that while using Dh's phone, to watch YouTube, he discovered that Dh's last search had been Tess Daley's tits..... Without missing a beat, Dh said, 'I'll get my coat...'I nearly wet myself

Whether I find it funny or not is besides the point (I don’t, by the way), but you said yourself that your son didn’t laugh and thought it was wrong. He obviously felt uncomfortable.

Well, someone wrote about it on Mumsnet, you see, so I presumed they wanted to discuss it. This detail struck me as outside my normal range of experience so I queried it. You then implied that it was personally normal so I explained why it had struck me as odd. That's all. No need for all the capitals, shocked faces and swearing.

Sounds exactly like something that would happen on my house. It wouldn't phase my kids to see something like that. I'd be more worried if I didn't have that openness with my kids.

Oh my word this is silly. Women can Google naked pics of men and do all the time, there's also a massive franchise based on it (think 50shades and magic Mike at the least). If it's not your thing then move on, but I don't get how people are so outraged about it. Yes it was careless of dp not to clear history but no one can ever make a mistake on mn and be allowed to laugh about it can they?!

Maybe it’s all outside your normal range of experience. Try not to worry. People have different tastes and that’s fine.

If the only secret your dh has got from you (or had) is that he once googled Tess Daly's mammaries, you aren't doing too bad op!
I am not that ashamed to admit that I've googled Matt le Blanc naked. Ooh, and David Gandy. I know my dh would be neither bothered or offended.

I once searched for a video to send to my dsis and forgot to clear my search history, my 3 yo Dd was sat quietly on my phone watching a video on helicopter willys. Lesson learnt always delete

Meg. I’m assuming you were all over the other thread then where it was a woman googling naked pictures of some minor celeb? Otherwise it’s just double standards

Since this thread I, like many on here I expect, have googled it out of curiosity and guess what, nothing comes up apart from Tess Daly apologizing for wearing outfits on Strictly which showed her nipples so can’t imagine the OP’s husband was googling it to have a wank!

Antigon. If you read the post it’s very clear. The DH was really awkward and said he’d get his coat. That’s the part the OP said made her nearly wet herself...probably laughing at his complete mortification?

This has nothing to do with what was googled. I've googled naked celebs before too. I'd be mortified if my 11 year old saw this though and I think it's a poor example to set. There is incognito fgs.

Oh meg get over yourself! If this had happened in my house when my DS was 11 and instead of laughing st the situation I’d launched into a diatribe about misogyny my DS would have been likely to tell me to chill my boots, he’d have seen them already when we watched strictly!!
