Off the back of the other thread... what's the best nightclub you've ever been to?

(Disclaimer - my clubbing days were late 90s. Memories may be distorted by time. 😉)

Turnmills in Farringdon - Heavenly jukebox/heavenly social nights.

The Cross in king's cross. Three floors if I remember rightly catering for different tastes.

There are others but these are the main two I went to.

Also, my student union mid-week night at The Rocket - The Big Fish. Cheap drinks, epic dancing. 😁😁😁

Oh god, anywhere in Ibiza in 1989/1990 soooo good the thought of it is bringing me out in goosebumps.

Does anyone rememember Paramount City in London? They had indie/rock nights on Fridays and Saturdays
Also loved The Venue in New Cross.

Full Tilt at the Electric ballroom in Camden was amazing (early 2000's), we used to trek across London every Friday, dance all night in our massive biker boots and tiny goth dresses, then get chips and eat them on the night bus home. Oh and rock night at Metro on Tottenham Court Road during the week, good times!

Chaos on South Parade Pier, Portsmouth. Mostly rock/grunge/hip hop/indie/skater punk stuff. Bliss. Met my husband there. Spilling out from the sweaty club at 2am into the bitter seaside air was heaven. Spent pretty much every Saturday night of my late teens/early 20s there. So many great memories, and such a lovely bunch of people. Handed out drumsticks or double lollies on the door. The wooden floor of the pier would bounce under the moshing; felt like you’d fall through into the sea at any given moment. sigh I’d give anything to have another night there!
