It doesn’t look good does it?

Really hope that things are not as bad as it seems but the fact the police are not saying anything about survivors being taken to hospital speaks volumes.

The pictures are absolutely horrendous.

Awful, awful accident.

AlexanderHamilton · 27/10/2018 22:50

Gary Lineker looks ashen on MOTD.

Dreadful, so sad, Gary Lineker is doing a good job on MOTD this evening.

An awful news day all round.

Meet0nTheIedge · 27/10/2018 22:52

It looks horrendous. I just can't see how an accident like that would be survivable Sad

TokyoSushi · 27/10/2018 22:52

Cross post, yes he's definitely doing his best in awful circumstances.

Wordsandpictures · 27/10/2018 22:58

I know that they have to be very careful before they disclose who was onboard but I think that if the Leicester City owner was not onboard then it would have been disclosed by now. Very sad. Gary Lineker is showing his professionalism tonight.

Weezol · 27/10/2018 23:07

Horrific pictures. Awful. My heart goes out to all those affected.
The football family is very good at pulling together at times like this.

SisterSledgeHammer · 27/10/2018 23:10

This has made me feel very wobbly. I feel quite surprised at how much this has affected me.

I've been a LCFC fan for over 30 years.

TrashyTerf · 27/10/2018 23:10

Those pictures are horrible. Social media is awful at times like this.

SpottingTheZebras · 27/10/2018 23:13

I can’t help but fear the worst because the pictures look awful but I really hope everybody is safe.

Several reports I have read say that the club owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, always leaves games in the helicopter so I suspect he was onboard. Sky Sports have reported that Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha and Jon Rudkin were not onboard.

wheresmyhairytoe · 27/10/2018 23:14

It's tragic.
He made the fairytale season the other year possible.

Gary Lineker looks ashen tonight.

GiantKitten · 27/10/2018 23:16

It's just dreadful.

There are some incredibly moving messages on twitter from LCFC fans. He will be a massive loss to the team.

GiantKitten · 27/10/2018 23:17

well, the team and the city Sad

dogandrunning · 27/10/2018 23:17

Absolutely devastating news , I am I life long LCFC supporter and our current owners are fantastic. The chairman always arrives and leaves every home game in his helicopter so it's not looking good
My thoughts are with all affected by this accident

User1983 · 27/10/2018 23:19

Really sad news. It doesn't look good as surely if he wasn't on the flight he would have confirmed in a statement by now. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Violetroselily · 27/10/2018 23:20

Awful incident. The pictures and videos look horrific.

BaldricksCoffee · 27/10/2018 23:21

Oh how awful, what a terrible thing to happen.

AlexanderHamilton · 27/10/2018 23:23

I’m also thinking of whoever was crewing the helicopter and their family(s)

OP posts:
Happypuppy · 27/10/2018 23:24

Awful :(

Hope the people involved are ok, as unlikely as it seems now. 😰

JacquesHammer · 27/10/2018 23:24

I can’t help being very concerned about on ground casualties too Sad

AlexanderHamilton · 27/10/2018 23:25

I’ve seen a screenshot of an unconfirmed report on twitter announcing sad news but as I say I don’t know the source.

OP posts:
VanillaSugary · 27/10/2018 23:26

No. No no no no

AlexanderHamilton · 27/10/2018 23:27

I think it’s fake. If it is a troll posting such stuff they deserve, well I don’t know what.

OP posts:
IPromiseIWontBeNaughty · 27/10/2018 23:29

The poor pilot & their family - we must think of them also

VanillaSugary · 27/10/2018 23:29

The BBC are running this story.
