It doesn’t look good does it?

Really hope that things are not as bad as it seems but the fact the police are not saying anything about survivors being taken to hospital speaks volumes.

A dark day indeed.

Flowers to all who have been affected.

There are no words Sad

KenAdams · 28/10/2018 18:41

My dad was up at the stadium earlier and he said it was heart breaking. He said there were hundreds of people there but it was eerily silent as nobody had any words, they just laid flowers and stood together. This family poured millions into our city. They have so much to our hospitals as well so it's bit both football fans and non fans alike.

VivaDixie · 28/10/2018 19:26

This has really upset me. I have no connection to LCFC but on reading the true respect he had for the fans and vice versa. It is heartbreaking.

Flowers to everyone involved and to moonflowers DH

GabsAlot · 28/10/2018 20:02

thoughts with the pilot and their family just to add to the others that jhave passed

dogandrunning · 28/10/2018 21:14

Took my DS's to lay flowers this afternoon and pay our respects to the best owner our club has ever had. There were hundreds of fans all stood silently together. The emotional impact of this accident is being felt right across the county.
It's so very very sad

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 28/10/2018 22:05

whatsthestory123 · 28/10/2018 22:10

i have no connection to LCFC but its really saddened me,hearing how much he has done for the club and community and how like able he was

why do things like this happen to good people

Shriekingbanshee · 28/10/2018 22:10

I know, each time I read it, I have a moment, I think it is so shocking.

Shriekingbanshee · 28/10/2018 22:14

I have very strong wonderful memories of my experiences of such lovely peaceable and kind thai people in my travels. Genuinely wouldn't have got by without their warmth and generosity.
Although not a football fan, he (and his family) has seemed to have become the heart and soul of that club.
Its heart-breaking such tragedy has befallen these wonderful people, but theres no rhyme or reason is there.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 28/10/2018 22:17

Leicestershire police have released the four other people who died with the Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha. They were two members of his staff, Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and passenger Izabela Roza Lechowicz.

Shriekingbanshee · 28/10/2018 22:24

Oh sad day. Thoughts and condolences for their families xx

AlexanderHamilton · 28/10/2018 22:27

I don't get why anyone would film that moment.. And had to be told to stop as well

Sometimes video footage can be invaluable to air crash investigators. A post crash fire, perhaps not so much, but I’m sure the AAIB will be asking for any videos that people may have. It will take a while, but the cause will be found.

Shriekingbanshee · 28/10/2018 22:40

Yes Hawathia AAIB need everything from all angles, the police too, video footage invaluable.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 28/10/2018 22:40

True. This guys footage I'm guessing won't as he was told by police to stop as there was people inside. Doubt would've held onto that.

Just sad the whole thing. Especially as sounds he did so much for people outside the club as well.

Shriekingbanshee · 28/10/2018 22:42

Once police on scene they evidence everything so no longer needed, and clear the area, control further footage which may get out and cause distress.

GloriaSmud · 29/10/2018 07:32

Wembley Stadium lit up in the Leicester colours last night.

Haworthia · 29/10/2018 13:01

Press release from the AAIB, including a call for videos and photographs: www.gov.uk/government/news/update-on-leicester-helicopter-accident-g-vskp

These guys do amazing work under really difficult circumstances.

MulticolourMophead · 29/10/2018 21:26

My brother is a fan, and while I don't bother much with football but this a real loss to the club and city. And so sad for the families of all the victims.
