How likely is it they’ll be voted out of Strictly this weekend?

Something along the lines of “Friends if Seann have dismissed it as speculation..” within the same article. All these multiple sources are really just copied and pasted from The Sun.

Yes, and you're not alone. But that article has no conflicting sources and I haven't read any other articles which is why I asked. I find it pretty believable to be honest. How many times on here do men minimise what's going on to their partners? 'No one else involved' becomes 'someone they are attracted to' becomes 'just one kiss' becomes 'a few kisses' becomes 'an affair'. Human nature being what it is, it's very rarely 'just one kiss', particularly in the circumstances that pair are in - spending a huge amount of time together in close physical proximity.

The point of my original post was that The Sun seem to be reporting everyone and their dog’s opinion. Unless there is confirmation, I still choose to believe it’s just another bit of gossip to milk the story.

But what confirmation can there be? They won't be visiting the pub together now. Multiple sources aren't enough, and yes, it's a vague term and I totally agree that the tabloid press in general play fast and loose with the truth, including the Daily Mail. But the balance of probabilities is that it's true - 'just one kiss' is the less likely story.

Still, it is bandwaggoning and further speculation from "alleged witnesses", and that is a term that I have seen used, 5 days later which adds nothing.

I really do think The Sun needs to find something else to write about.

I don't entirely disagree except that I think if true it's the sort of fact that adds weight to his ex-girlfriend's account and if, as posters on here claim, she's now being widely disbelieved and ridiculed, maybe it's fairer to her that a fuller story is known.

That may not be true - I don't use the sites that were quoted - but it feels very much to me like another case of woman being discounted because a man denies her story and collaborating evidence is ignored. Even if that evidence is in a shit rag of a paper.

People usually forget about the real victims in cases like this and I don't think The Sun were recycling the same stuff for her benefit. I don't see anywhere that Rebecca Humphries is being disbelieved or ridiculed over this.

The fact that she has gained many followers is probably a sign that people are generally favourable towards her.

If you read upthread you'll see references to her being both disbelieved and ridiculed.

I have to say he didn't look too bothered tonight. I'd have a bit of sympathy if he seemed to show some recognition but to act like a fool as if nothing is wrong.

Also Neil appearing when seann and Katya were awaiting scores can anyone else reminder seeing him appear ever before in those bits? Maybe we are being played?

The vast majority of social media comments have been supportive of RH and I’ve yet to read one that is either ridiculing her or flat out disbelieving her. The closest would be those defending Seann as innocent until proven but that is not what my post was about.

There are plenty of posts on this very thread by people who don't believe her.

One poster says Meanwhile in real life there seems to be a bit of a backlash against her. The majority of the Mail comments, the Sun comments, the Strictly facebook comments and Digital Spy comments are against her. People are saying they have sympathy for Seann and she is coming across as slightly crazy.

As I say, I don't use those sites and can't therefor vouch for the truth of that.

I don't take any notice of DM comments or Sun comments.

They do not represent most people either.

The show aired, they danced, the world still turns.

Well, there wouldn't be, would they? It's a very basic truism that you can't prove a negative.

Looking at Digital Spy and the Strictly facebook page, it seems a lot of people voted for Seann and Katya. Some because they liked his dance but a lot because they say they are disgusted at their treatment by the media

Well, indeed, Volant, but I was told that for all the sources quoted in that article there were contradicting ones.

Allegedly he had an affair with Emily Attack in 2016. She thought he was single but he was living with his ex. EA is also rumoured to be going into I’m A Celeb this year. Mmm. Do you think this whole saga is one big con to get a few minor celebs better known? I am beginning to think so.

My take on this is if Rebecca hadn't posted that statement on Twitter it would have all blown over by now.

Just read now sources are saying that Seann & Rebecca we're already split up by the time the kiss happened..
might explain why he didn't feel he had to apologise to Rebecca. Who knows whether it's true though.

Why aptly she have been at the show on the Saturday if they had split when it happened?

I could be wrong, but I think guests have to apply to be drawn out of a ballot to get a place- presumably quite a time ahead of the show, maybe she thought she'd still go?
