Just making a playlist for my 40th and although I have a pretty good selection already I need more songs for the end of the night. Lots of drunken people standing in a big circle dancing and singing together type songs Grin.

Harrypotterfan1604 · 03/10/2018 10:32

@Monkeybunkey has some good taste in music! I second all those choices!
Everyone secretly loves cheesy pop music so you can’t go much wrong with it.

coughingbean · 03/10/2018 10:34

The grease megamix!

Saffzy · 03/10/2018 10:36

Oops upside your head

Sparklyfee · 03/10/2018 10:39

Don't think many people can sit down when Mr Brightside comes on.

If the above were played, with the exception of New York, New York, I would be heading for the bar!

Monkeybunkey · 03/10/2018 10:40

Thanks Harrypotterfan1604! Can't believe I forgot the Grease megamix though!

Part of the Union

used to go down well at student discos. Lots of scope for shouting and stomping.

(When they wanted to clear the dance floor at the end, they'd play Little Jimmy Osmond)

JammyGem · 03/10/2018 11:40

The venue I used to work at would always have Bohemian Rhapsody as the last song of the night - perfect signal that the disco's coming to an end, but almost every time everyone left would be up dancing and singing along!

Elderflower14 · 03/10/2018 11:40

Dancing Queen!

Womaningreen · 03/10/2018 11:42

Most of these would have me heading for the door, I'm usually first to the dance floor.

Uptown Funk for sure. Is that the only contemporary suggestion?!

How about Sia, Cheap Thrills, Titanium

Anyone go clubbing in the past, what about some Ministry?

faithless, insomnia must be good for all ages? Or, God is a DJ.
