Just looking at the John Lewis advert thread....I thought it was sweet but there are people who don’t...fair enough.

But are there some things that are universally liked?

For example

A kitten, who can’t like a kitten?

I think there is such a vast range of people on the planet that there will always be someone who hates something that most of us love.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned but I think everyone likes those videos of babies having hearing aids fitted and hearing their parents voices for the first time.

The feeling of one of your babies ( if you have one) falling asleep on you and hearing their little sighs down your ear.
Being spooned in bed when your back is cold.
A takeaway on the weekend.
An early night in bed just relaxing reading a book or watching the tv with a nice hot cup of tea.

No to walking - i use a walking frame and its bloody painful; dislike cheesecake; as gorgeous as they are, not a fan of the smell of a newborn; oh god, not Christmas; completely meh about music, can't remember the last time I listened to any; tea is horrible, as is coffee; Gary Lineker omg no; Tom Hanks is creepy so no; Serena Williams - no, I hate tennis players who grunt; no to Nana because I hate the Royle Family and Dads Army and all soaps and Only Fools and Horses.

I'm going to second roast potatoes which a PP suggested on an earlier page.
