Just looking at the John Lewis advert thread....I thought it was sweet but there are people who don’t...fair enough.

But are there some things that are universally liked?

For example

A kitten, who can’t like a kitten?

A walk on a crisp autumn day?

Getting your own way.

My DS doesn't like chips. I don't like KitKats.

Laughing. Who doesn't like laughing?! Hate kittens FYI 😂

Oxygen. Everybody loves that, surely!

Or maybe a really satisfying poo! Bet everyone loves one of those

A bargain! Who doesn't like getting a bargain?

Or a satisfying poop, yep, agreed, that must be pretty universal. Right?

There will even be people who don't like shopping and receiving presents, those against capitalism and consumerism or whatever the right term is!

I hate shopping,it bores me rigid,I'd rather go for a proper walk or read a book. I don't like receiving presents either,I'd rather choose things myself and for some reason,presents make me feel obligated to give something in return - totally my problem.

I hate shopping and I hate shoes & handbags. I have to make a wish list of presents I'd like or I'd probably end up with Lego and a jumbo car sponge.

My 5 month old great nephew has the most gorgeous happy smile ever. It seems to light up his whole face. And his eyes twinkle at the same time....ooh, bless his cottons.
