Just looking at the John Lewis advert thread....I thought it was sweet but there are people who don’t...fair enough.

But are there some things that are universally liked?

For example

A kitten, who can’t like a kitten?

A walk on a crisp autumn day?

Well, anybody’s smile really. As long as it doesn’t belong to a maniac about to kill somebody.

(Just had to mention my great nephews smile 😄)

He’s just gorgeous 👶.

And the sound of waves crashing.
And the calm sea, or ocean.

Yes, surely no-one could hate a smile unless it is Shane MacGowan's

Another vote for Father Ted, pretty much any episode/scene.

I am amazed that people don't like clean sheets - not even when they're ironed? I thought that was a cert.

What about when you find a really perfect, thoughtful gift for someone - that moment when they open it and you've got it absolutely right. Their face in that moment.
I've spent far too much time and/or money in the past finding the right gift but I don't begrudge any of it as there's so much pleasure in seeing someone's face light up

A stretch
The smell of vanilla
Coming into the cool after a hot day out
A beautiful clear sky
A sky full of stars
Having someone laugh at your joke

I don't like pizza. That's out.
