I'll start:

Ubereats for charging me nearly a tenner for some cold, rubbery food that they told me I couldn't have a refund for as 'tough luck' AngryAngry

o2 for refusing to replace a broken new phone (arrived broken), and then not accepting my complaint.

Ford.

This Facebook page tells you everything you need to know about their shitty Ecoboost engines.

£2600 new engine+ hire car+tow charges. Absolutely bastarding shower of shit.

Ironically my most teeth grinding business is a private cosmetic dentist. They would make brilliant cold callers. I dont even want to expand on their bullshit as i dont want to noise myself up at bedtime.

Scottish power are second on the list, 18 months they never took out our dd, eventually they had to pay all outstanding debt via their hardship fund. Fucking useless cunts

BrazzleDazzleDay · 25/08/2018 21:33

Actually utility warehouse Angry

CaffeineAndCrochet · 25/08/2018 21:42

Looking to hire a wedding postbox for our wedding and one website I found that rents them had 'bridesmaids are left to look pretty' as a selling point. Yeah, fuck that.

LeftRightCentre · 25/08/2018 21:51

A wedding postbox?

CaffeineAndCrochet · 25/08/2018 21:55

For putting cards in at the wedding instead of giving them to best man etc.

Tomboytown · 25/08/2018 21:59

John Lewis credit card for taking £2k out of my account and not finding it for 2 months.

HSBC, for a missing £5k transfer, not finding it for a month.

Then both of them not wanting me as s customer anymore!

Direct line for trying to refuse a hire car when my car was being fixed after an accident. The car took 8 weeks to fix, due to their incompetence. At one point they didn’t even know where the car was.

Heatherjayne1972 · 25/08/2018 22:45

Curry’s
For not training their staff properly so a customer ( me) had to help the shop assistant with their computer system
Said computer system confirmed my item would be delivered on x day between 12pm And 6pm- definitely - the computer says so
Except they turned up at 10am when I was at work out of town
Their ‘helpline’ staff were rude and hung up on me when I tried to complain

Not darkened their door since

ArtyKitty · 25/08/2018 22:53

Talk talk. Ex and i had various communal bills in our names and i happened to pay phone and broadband. We split up. Cue HOURS of hold music and then the line cutting out minutes after finally being connected. Called multiple times. Can i add him to the account. No. Can i switch bank accounts? No. Can i close the account and pay what's left? No. Shall i pay for my exs Internet for 6 months because that's actually less hassle? Yes. I actually did

theunsure · 25/08/2018 22:57

Yodel

They have 2 parcels and keep telling me they can’t find my house so don’t deliver day after day. I live in a tiny village with only 2 roads and live practically on the village sign. They are lying bastards who have never been near the village and refuse to phone for directions when claiming to be lost.
Hermes, DPD, Amazon, Ocado, NEXT never have any trouble-just fecking Yodel.
Their call centre features whining, patronising bastards in another country with bloody awful accents who make me want to commit genocide.
There are no fecking landmarks or other street names you arseholes, its a rural English village with a few sheep, not fecking New York. Stop with the platitudes and ridiculous excuses and just tell the useless knobhead in the van to use some common sense.
And breathe.

StarUtopia · 25/08/2018 23:04

Tax credits - fuckers have stitched me up AGAIN..

Sky - enough said

Boundary Mill in Lancashire - awful awful company to work for.

PrincessWire · 25/08/2018 23:06

Came here to check if my employer is on here, they're on page one!

Xxalisoncxx · 25/08/2018 23:34

My ex worked for them, I know how appealing they are ( him included) x

Xxalisoncxx · 25/08/2018 23:42

Virgin media who told me to stop crying you silly little girl, I’ve made 5 complaints, not one manager has a phoned me back, worst company I’ve ever dealt with

LemonysSnicket · 26/08/2018 01:43

Oasis, I worked for them once and they were fucking horrible.

GoodHeavensNoImAChicken · 26/08/2018 01:49

Yodel have supposedly not managed to find our doorbell before which was infuriating as we couldn’t fit the curtain pole they’d supposedly attempted to deliver in our car so it was a nightmare to collect

Uber eats took 2.5 hours to deliver a pizza from a pizzeria under a mile away at 10.30pm once. They were good about it the next day but jeez we didn’t want it by the time it arrived

Thesearepearls · 26/08/2018 02:21

DarlingNikita I've had at least 3 cheques through from Scottish Power. One was for about £60 and the others for around £20. My course of action last month involved appealing to something called a resolver website. Scottish Power solemnly vowed never to contact me again about this flat in Hinckley. Today I received another statement. My course of action this month will be to write to the Chief Executive.

Plus this stuff they are doing is illegal. I am not a customer of theirs - why do they have my name and address? I've asked them countless times to remove it. How did my name and address get attached (seemingly irrevocably) to a flat in Hinckley?

I do feel sorry for the tenant/owner of said flat in Hinckley. They are not getting their statements, prepayment keys or cheques. I might write to them too. It's been going on long enough.

AsleepAllDay · 26/08/2018 05:54

Boots is also rubbish for letting me rack up points on a temporary card & then never sending me the actual card! I filled out the form and everything. Just wasted points as I worked next door to a Boots and was always popping in

Whatsnewwithyou · 26/08/2018 06:02

Virgin for their salesman who knocked on my door to sell.me a bundle with tv channels included. When I said I didn't have a TV he actually stepped into my house uninvited, looked in the lounge and said "why do you have all those DVDs then???!!!" I replied that I watched them on my computer. I should have replied "get the fuck out of my house."

AsleepAllDay · 26/08/2018 06:11

And I know they're not a company but with the fees they charge they may as well be - the Home Office. Pisstakers who led me to waste half a year of my life. Absolutely incompetent

Meesh77 · 26/08/2018 07:40

Another vote for Virgin media.

For promising to install their services, disconnecting my internet provider, turning up at 6pm on a December evening to carry out installation and then fishing around in a hole in the pavement (with a stick they found in my garden) before announcing they couldn’t find their own cables.

For continuing to write to me offering to install their services.

DinosApple · 26/08/2018 09:28

I'd say no surprise for mine:

BT Business

Honestly hours of my work life and home stress (own small business) trying to sort out an error they have made- not putting a call plan on one of our business lines - therefore costing us a huge amount.

This is the 3rd month the bill hasn't been corrected. Despite hours on the phone.

I had to move our business premises two years ago and honestly the stress of having to deal with BT, NPower, Scottish Power and British Gas nearly gave me a break down.

One of the above keeps sending someone to read the meter at the now demolished old premises. Who finding no building comes to our new premises to try to read the meter...
Fucks sake that is not how it works. Different address, different meter number and even a different supplier!

People wonder why we don't swap suppliers often Hmm.

Whusp · 26/08/2018 11:03

AsleepAllDay Boots did that to be too! I clocked up loads of point on my temp card but they never sent out a replacement despite me filling in all the forms! I lost all my points! Angry

magimedi · 26/08/2018 11:10

Mine is from about 25 years ago.

VW - went to look for a new car, on my own. At the end of being shown what they had on offer the car dealer (male) gave me a pile of leaflets & said:

"Here's all the technical stuff for your husband to read".

Guess what make of car I have never bought?

MaudesMum · 26/08/2018 11:14

GWR. For the completely meaningless "rebranding" from First Great Western" to Great Western Railways, and incredibly jolly/profoundly irritating subsequent advertising. Rather than putting the money into improving the service, which remains shit. And in particular for only providing any refunds if their services are over an hour late, rather than half an hour like most other rail companies. I don't think I've ever been able to claim anything back, despite many services being 40 or 50 minutes late. The staff are lovely though.
