I'll start:

Ubereats for charging me nearly a tenner for some cold, rubbery food that they told me I couldn't have a refund for as 'tough luck' AngryAngry

o2 for refusing to replace a broken new phone (arrived broken), and then not accepting my complaint.

Argos are starting to fall out of my good books.

If this guy calls at 6am, I will not be happy....

We bought french doors from Safestyle. DD had all her windows done with them, and was perfectly happy so we thought we would give them a go.
First sign of hot weather (last year) and we either couldn't get them open, or couldn't get them shut. They said it was the hot weather and they would be ok when it cooled down. Great. So you expect us to go out without locking the doors?
Eventually after three call outs they sent a man who knew what he was doing. Doors worked fine this summer.
It made me very glad we hadn't bought windows as well.

Corgi homeplan. Their engineer turned off my boiler and condemned it as he had never seen a plume diverter. (I paid for another engineer to come and he confirmed there was no issue and the boiler should nevertheless have been turned off )
He verbally abused me in my own home and on the phone when I refused his offer of having a new boiler installed by him at discount as my boiler was very dangerous.
He also scratched my worktops which we’re only fitted the previous year.

Took corgi 8 months to sort it. And all I got was £100 to compensate for my damaged worktops and that was after numerous calls and emails. No apology for their engineer and they refused to cancel my policy while they were ‘investigating’.
They were to do it when I got my compensation but they didn’t . They kept taking money even after I cancelled the direct debit my end.

Latest from them is they have no record of my original complaint from last year or of any phone calls asking for the policy to be cancelled. Therefore I can’t get any of the premiums refunded and the case is closed.
Tossers.

I do feel sorry for the tenant/owner of said flat in Hinckley. They are not getting their statements, prepayment keys or cheques. I might write to them too. It's been going on long enough.

Definitely write to them! Send a copy of it to Scottish Power and make sure you make clear to the tenant what SP have been fannying about at.

ICantBelieveIDidThis · 30/08/2018 01:34

They called at 06:41 and arrived shortly after 07:30.

@cricketmum84 oh yes I remember that! Drug resistant syphilis would be easier to get rid of than that was. Took me ages but goodness I was so happy when I managed it in the end (the U2 album, I've never had syphilis!)

Cindersdonegood · 30/08/2018 11:02

@ICantBelieveIDidThis I guess that's not too bad... I mean, I'd be pissed at any call before 8:30am but that's COD I'm not a morning person at all but it would give me a chance to get some clothes on before the delivery 😋

ICantBelieveIDidThis · 30/08/2018 11:19

True enough.

I even managed to get one of the wardrobes up...

Oh god I’d forgotten about Vodafone. Carried out a software upgrade on my signal booster box which promptly stopped it from working. Apparently this was my problem to fix and they suggested I contact my internet provider. They never did fix it and in the end I bought myself out of my contract early so I wouldn’t have to deal with them anymore.

Dh also cancelled his contract with them, verbally in a phone call. Cancelled his direct debit. Six months later he started getting threatening letters for unpaid bills. He kept trying to ring them to explain that he had already cancelled. I left him to it one day when I went shopping and came back two hours later to find him still on hold. Incompetent bastards.

notangelinajolie · 30/08/2018 23:43

Npowder. I can't even bring myself to type their name properly. Took literally years and years to sort out a problem. In the end they admitted to the Ombudsman that they couldn't fix it and I got an apology letter and compensation.

Three - got me escorted by security from their shop for refusing to leave until they paid back money owed to me. Revenge was sweet when a week later I returned with a Trading Standards Officer who read them the riot act and got me my money back.

Homebloodyserve Angry

Yeah their advert says they come out within 24 hours but what they neglect to tell you is that they won’t fix the problem for TWO YEARS. Angry

Took them to court and won!
