Inspired by the interesting thread asking the opposite question, what food do you really like that's generally hated?

Mine would be raw egg - stirred with salt and pepper, it makes a lovely dip!

🤢🤢🤢 it’s a no from me, OP!

Gherkins get a bad rap but I love them and can eat them by the jar.

Ginmakesitallok · 23/08/2018 19:51

Black pudding - food of the Gods

jusdepamplemousse · 23/08/2018 19:52

Pot noodles

winterinmadeira · 23/08/2018 20:00

Another vote for black pudding and mushy peas here. I also love marmite.

And I love lambs kidneys

vampirethriller · 23/08/2018 20:02

Rollmops
Black pudding
Pickled eggs

I also like the bones out of tins of salmon and eat them before the fish.

FourFriedChickensDryWhiteToast · 23/08/2018 20:04

ooh yes another vote for black pudding...

Lolipoplady · 23/08/2018 20:08

Raw or very lightly cooked Brussel sprouts! They are lovely mixed in a salad with apple and cheddar, or covered in a satay sauce.

Also love Marmite - but don't know if that counts?

dontcallmelen · 23/08/2018 20:09

Irish black or white pudding, adore the stuff.

ScreamingValenta · 23/08/2018 20:12

Marmite is supposed to be a love or hate thing. I'm perhaps odd in that I can take it or leave it Grin.

Salmon bones are a definite no from me; ditto lambs kidneys (or any kidneys really).

Ooh yes to black pudding! On a soft morning roll with ketchup and a tattie scone.

Also love brussels sprouts. Either with salt, pepper and gravy as part of Sunday dinner or roasted with bacon and a little bit of butter 😍

caviar
caviar spread in a tube, the scandi kind
salty licoriche

mermaidbutmytailfelloff · 23/08/2018 20:18

Egg yolk, raw, with pepper, lots of it is wonderful as a dip. Even bettering you put smoked mackerel on rye bread and top with a raw egg yolk and pepper. Food of the gods. With you all the way OP

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 23/08/2018 20:18

Or perhaps it's spelled liquorice, sry

Newbabies15 · 23/08/2018 20:19

Olives

BonnieF · 23/08/2018 20:19

Tinned mackerel in tomato sauce. Most people buy it for their cats, but I love to ear the stuff on toast.

Olives, anchovies, capers. I like the combination of salty & bitter.

Sherry. The world’s most misunderstood and under appreciated wine. Unfortunately, people’s preconceptions about yucky sweet cream sherry still persist.

Kintan · 23/08/2018 20:20

Another vote for black pudding - maybe it’s not as unpopular as is thought

MrsJayy · 23/08/2018 20:22

Racecardriver · 23/08/2018 20:22

Bone marrow. Spread on bread or just on its own.

MeetOnTheLedge · 23/08/2018 20:23

I like the caviar in a tube too, also rollmops, anchovies, black pudding and oysters.
