A song that really touched your soul?

I just stumbled upon a song on youtube for the first time and it made me feel so many emotions that i just cant explain.

The song was 'sailing' by Christopher Cross.

Chasing Cars by snow patrol, makes me cry every time

All we do by Oh Wonder (being used on Unforgotten on tv atm), makes me so emotional my throat closes up, no idea why, although it is beautiful.

Jason Mraz 'I won't give up". It came on the radio when I was driving. I'd never heard it before, the words were so meaningful to me at that time, I ended up stopping the car and just listening. That was the moment it really hit me that my (now) DH was the one.

too I do like the Alexandra Burke version but absolutely love this version by Kate Voegele, it's softer and not as x-factored.

Everyone says that Disturbed song but I find it so 2000’s and shouty.

There’s a Johnny Cash one about sending his love to Rose. That’s sad.

Calon Lan. It was my Taid’s favourite Welsh language song and was played at his funeral. It stops me in my tracks when I hear it (not unusual in Wales).

Street of dreams by Rainbow. It's probably about a relationship gone wrong but could also be applied to bereavement and I listened to it often all last year when I was fundraising in memory of my dad.

Love Hurts - Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris .

Good Grief by Bastille. My grandad was dying when it came out. My sister got married a few days after he died and as we were getting ready it came on, it all hit me and I sobbed as I listened to it.

I love that song and came across in while searching for a radio station as a teen. Lovely song and so glad I found it.

The Wave by Tom Chaplin. The whole album is excellent but when this song comes on I feel so moved, and then you get to the part with the brass instruments and I get goosebumps every time.
