Made myself a coffee and now back in bed which is s great start!
OH is on call with work, I can hear him on his phone in the kitchen, that's OK, he's not a medic , so now that he is up we may get out to Tesco for 8am to do the shopping.
DS went out yesterday and is not back yet, and I have to work a bit today ( I work from home)
OH will cook whatever we fancy, maybe a pot roast.

What are you up to today?

Currently sat in bed with DP and DS watching waffle the bloody wonder dog, and looking at the rain wondering what to do...

EssentialHummus · 12/08/2018 07:37

DD (11 months) is snoozing on me, I’m just on my phone.

DelurkingAJ · 12/08/2018 07:37

Woken at 6:45 by DSs. Downstairs, cartoons on, DH is making breakfast. I am looking forward to having teenagers as it is far too early for this night owl!

Dramaticmuch · 12/08/2018 07:37

Been jobhunting since 5.30ish. Lying in bed listening to 5 year old singing and woofing. Church with family this morning, voluntary work for church later on. Wondering if weather will be conducive to watching meteor shower tonight.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 12/08/2018 07:39

Going for a run, then coffee and papers, then a walk with the dogs and a pub lunch.

Netlix in the afternoon.

All planned out.

Strawberrybelly · 12/08/2018 07:41

I woke up with Dd next to me in bed when my alarm went off. Ive had 2 cups of coffee and some crumpets and Dd has had some porridge. Just about to go and wash up the dishes that I couldn't be arsed to do last night. Then I've got to get ready for work. I'm working all day again today like yesterday.

wendz86 · 12/08/2018 07:42

My kids are off on holiday with their dad today so finish packing for them . They get picked up this morning . Plan after is to go to Tesco , do some cleaning / sorting and some tv . Dinner is bolognese .

Strawberrybelly · 12/08/2018 07:43

Chardonnay can we swap? Your day sounds much more fun than mine.

PaintBySticker · 12/08/2018 07:44

Up with the kids while husband gets the lie in (we take turns). They’re building a train track in the other room, older one slightly frustrated with younger one so that could all kick off. But generally it’s pretty peaceful. Don’t know what we’re goinh to do today. There’s a chicken in the fridge that needs cooking.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 12/08/2018 07:45

Redecorating the kitchen. I'm stiff as a post from working on it all day yesterday. The last people who lived here made such a mess of it all that there's days of prep to do.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 12/08/2018 07:46

I'm up hours earlier than I would normally be on a Sunday but I said I'd give DD a lift to work as the weather forecast was so awful.

I'm hoping DP will do the shopping later as there's very little food in the house.

Passmethecrisps · 12/08/2018 07:46

Dh is taking both DD’s away for two nights later so I am currently sitting with little DD1 watching the news and thinking about what they need to take.

Once they are gone I may do housework then luxuriate in having the house to myself. I go back to work tomorrow following a year off so I am going to try to make the most of it

Winkybum · 12/08/2018 07:46

I was aching in bed so just came down and now I am laying on the sofa instead.

Where are you for tesco to be open at 8am on a Sunday? Sounds a bliss time to go as I can't imagine many people would be in there.

LittleNoSleep · 12/08/2018 07:47

OP - Tesco doesn’t usually open til 10am on a Sunday, just before you race out.....

HRTpatch · 12/08/2018 07:47

Cup of tea in bed then a mammoth session d'amour.
Papers..get up about 12. Sunday lunch out about 3 and a walk.
Back for a new boxed set.

airbnbshowsnoresults · 12/08/2018 07:48

@LittleNoSleep unless you're in Scotland

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 12/08/2018 07:48

I've been up for about an hour after a night of horrendously interrupted sleep and am getting ready for work after a week off Sad
I think DS and DH are heading to softplay later as DH bloody loves it (I have no idea why) and once I'm home at 6 I'll make a roast and we'll be chilling in our pjs for the rest of the evening. Hopefully with a glass of cider.

speakout · 12/08/2018 07:48

LittleNoSleep supermarkets are open 24/7 here.
Not all of the UK has Sunday trading hours.

speakout · 12/08/2018 07:51

Yes Scotland.
Supermarkets only close on Christmas day.

My youngest was an early waking toddler for years, doing the weekly shop at 5am on a Sunday morning kept me sane!

Waiting for the viagra to kick in with a cup of tea. Romance has died....

educatingarti · 12/08/2018 07:51

Have taken cup of tea back to bed. Trying to persuade myself to get up and get v on with tidying flat and finishing packing for going to visit DM. Church this morning, then traveling down to Sam's this afternoon.

WhatAmISupposedToBeDoing · 12/08/2018 07:55

Drinking tea. DD watching PJ Masks. DS(1) thundering about being a pest :) H sitting there irritating me by existing. I have to go to work later.

lucysmam · 12/08/2018 07:55

I'm just drinking a cup of tea before going up to get ready for work. Only working 4 hours but didn't sleep well last night (it's not really normal to have that butterflies feeling about going to work, is it? :( ).

The girls will be with their dad; not a clue what plans they have, probably xbox and football on tv.

Pasta with creamy chicken and leeks for tea tonight I think :)

TheRealHousewifeofCheshire · 12/08/2018 07:58

Laying in bed with baby. Woken up by tottdler shouting at top of stairs for daddy. He brought me tea and toast in bed for us all nut i asked them to go down. Trying to find the gumption ti go to church while other half works. When i come.bk hopefully toddler will sleep but we will then argue as he will be trying to work and i will be bor3d and fed up toddler only wants him. Your days sound lush.

Got up early due to sodding fibromyalgia.
DH is in bed, but not sleeping and ds2 is still spark out. Ds1 is playing angry birds Star Wars on the tablet.
Still have the last bits of putting away to do from our holiday.
Just told ds1 we're bunking off church as most of the congregation are away on a big multi church meetup thingy.
He then fed our cat most of a pot of treats.
