Sunday morning- what are you doing?

Made myself a coffee and now back in bed which is s great start!
OH is on call with work, I can hear him on his phone in the kitchen, that's OK, he's not a medic , so now that he is up we may get out to Tesco for 8am to do the shopping.
DS went out yesterday and is not back yet, and I have to work a bit today ( I work from home)
OH will cook whatever we fancy, maybe a pot roast.

What are you up to today?

Sat having a coffee in peace!
DS still in bed bang out and OH still in bed sleeping off his hangover... didn't get in till 4am 😡😡 bedroom stinks of alcohol 🤢

We are going to the Post Office museum this morning and on the mail ride thingie. DP is taking the DCs on that as I am a bit claustrophobic. Then we will have lunch in the cafe there and back to do music practice this afternoon.

In bed now with DD (11 weeks), just fed her but she's still whinging. DP asleep but has promised to make an omelette for breakfast. This is good as I've been up since 5am with v bad cramps and I plan to do fuck all except eat, watch anime and cuddle DD all day.

Dinner either chicken soup or stir fry.

I'm feeling very lonely and wondering how I am going to fill a long wet Sunday by myself. I haven't spoke to anyone since work on Friday and bit sick of my own company.

Hubby and DD have just gotten up leaving me cosy in bed, will get up and make a cuppa and get 1st breakfast (cereal) and bring it back to bed for some binge watching or book reading, then will get up closer to 10 and make 2nd breakfast (sausages and toast), hubby will deweed the garden then watch the football this afternoon.

Will have some art time with DD after her nap too. We were planning a walk today to the duck pond but it's raining and we don't have autumn coats/wellies or anything sorted yet so will just have to chill in the house today.

I'm lounging on the sofa, my adult son just went out to go fishing. Husband is in the shower. Going to let the hens out and give them some left over peas from last nites tea as a treat in a mo!
Then toast and off to pillates. After that have to do boring things like DIY, paperwork etc. Got to try and figure out how to raise the cooker height to kitchen worktops as worktops higher than should be (don't ask why long story).
Probs go shopping and get a little pressy to post to granddaughters as we won't see them for a few weeks. Then meet friends at the pub and maybe go to Wetherspoons for tea.

Dh is making us eggs. DC are eating brioche. Baby is bouncing in his bouncy chair.
We are trying to decide what to do today. Ikea is a possibility but as our shower is leaking, it looks like Dh will be fixing that today instead.

I’ve just got up - dh is away and dcs are finally at an age where they don’t wake me.
Chilled day today as we were out all day yesterday and it’s forecast rain.
I’m going to do a bit of school work, baking and cleaning, and try to motivate the dcs not to be on the PS4 ALL day. Maybe go for a walk with a friend later if the rain holds off.

DH has just brought me a cup of tea in bed. I'm going to drink that then have a soak in the bath. Teenage DSs are still fast asleep so when they wake up we'ĺl have bacon and egg sandwiches before going to an indoor snow place for our first skiing lesson. We are all really excited! We've never done any winter sports before but we have a skiing holiday booked for Christmas so are taking advantage of some summer offers to start learning.

Once that's done it's home for pork and pancetta pasta and a glass of wine before getting ready for back to work tomorrow.

I'm still in bed. Sunday is my lie in. Saturday is dh's. I will get up and have a bath in a minute. Then we have to rip up the carpet on the stairs and landing and two bedrooms because we have new carpet being laid this week. Gotta take that to the tip too.

Later on we might go school shoe shopping or to the garden centre.

Got down to the caravan late last night after finishing off some DIY at home, DC up since 7.30 so they are watching CBeebies while I have a cup of tea and DH is lying in. Will see what the weather is doing soon and maybe get kids down a walk to the beach. Have some stuff here to make lunch rather than going out to buy Sunday roast stuff, will probably will be sausage and mash Grin going to try to read a bit of my novel, never get round to reading at home but down here there isn't the housework etc to do!

I'm hoping to maybe go for a tiny walk round the park later. I haven't been able to go out much in the heat so it's nice now it's cooler and I can breathe again :)

I want scrambled eggs for breakfast, but not sure if I can be bothered to cook them...

Homemade pizzas for dinner, I think. Though I sort of fancy a roast in this weather.

Woke up with the start of a migraine. So got up at six and cleaned the kitchen - can't stop moving about unless I want it to get worse. So I'll clean the rest of the place, too.
DS is still in bed, DD is up since 7 and reading.
Dcat is on the terrasse trying to intimidate a wood pidgeon.

In bed with luxurious second cuppa! DH and 4yo Ds having breakfast and then going out skateboarding together - a recent Sunday ritual for the two of them, Sunday mornings are my me time. Friends coming over this afternoon so will pop to Sainsbury’s in a bit for some suitable drinks and snacks for them. Contemplating going for a run....

Then we're going to a heritage railway and hopefully I'll find an hour to go for a run this evening.

Sat on sofa with cappuccino and cuddly toddler who let us both sleep in until 8!!

Promised to go swimming with him later, planning corned beef hash and Yorkshire puds for tea.

Must crack on with the project plan and costings for our new kitchen and my knicker drawer needs attention, whether or not I sort either remains to be seen.

Sitting in the cafe at hospital waiting for my dad to have a ct scan,
I've been since 8.15.. not sure how long it takes?

DP has gone to work so DS(6) has jumped in his spot and we’re watching Netflix- DP bought me coffee and DS milk before he went so we’re all set but starting to get hungry. Rain forecast here all day so the plan for the day is to bake a cake, colouring, carpet picnic, table football and a film this afternoon Smile

had planned to visit craft and plant market, cut the grass and go to the beach. All rained off ( I wish the MNers on the "I hate warmth and sun in the summer" threads lived up here!)
So, no plans at all.
