I am conflicted as Kanye is such a tool, I hate the song and can't help but feel this just gives him extra promotion but TayTay crying about character assassination is not really done from the highest ground. I know she rarely confirms who she is singing about, but they're not really hard to work out and in doing so she doesn't give the other party a fair chance to respond.

RL holidaying not on the Gold Coast . . .or was it?! has interrupted my TayTo obsession so I have just spent the morning catching up.
I'm starting to feel sorry for 11-yr-old TayTay being bullied and for adult TayTay being caught in the Kimye trap. It's blooming obvious that TayTay agreed a reference but didn't agree Kimye could call her a bitch. In fact her initial statement said as much.
I don't think TayTay's girl squad are any match for Kimye; CH and Katy when it comes to batshit crazy or bitchiness. She needs to augment her squad with some of Tim's 'associates'. Hmm, maybe call in Hugh Grant and Tim's mum. Ooh, and Rupert Everett. They could shut down those mean boys and girls in a heartbeat.

It all strikes me as a girl who was bullied having an over-developed sense of self-preservation & lashing out at anyone who she thinks might be wanting to hurt her. This makes her seem a little hysterical/mean/ridiculous which encourages others to laugh at her & try to wind her up creating a self-perpetuating cycle.

So, basically, TayTay is me a few years ago! I'm getting a bit over-invested in all this now & I just want to give her a hug & let her hide in my house until the haters stop hating!

I do agree about wanting to being successful women down but I think with celebs (and it can be the same for men) - when they project a certain 'perfect& image people don't believe it and want to see the real person who will of course not be as perfect.

She is so desperate to micro manage her image that slips are bound to occur. You need to show a few flaws to look human.

AGnu yy I was thinking there's still an element of her wanting to be one of the cool kids and thinking that she had made it with the Kanye song reference in-joke; and writing the secret song for CH. But then both Kanye and CH didn't do what she thought they'd agreed and she's back to feeling like the geeky/amdram kid on the outside.

I agree with the article with regards to Hiddles...it is shocking how the dynamic is portrayed.

The nasty Twitter reaction aside. This isn't about feminism but about someone being caught lying and having twisted a situation for their own gain.

I don't really agree with the Guardian article. Swift is the power player, a pretty major one in the entertainment industry. Hiddleston is just some minnow who's been in a few costume dramas. So I fully believe it's her, or her team, who are running the show. It reminds me of the time George Clooney went out with that woman who presented the Big Breakfast.

I actually disagree with the guardian article. Am glad their was a recoding. She agreed and then tried to play the innocent victim. She has always played this and this time it has backfired. Katy Perry must be rejoicing.

Is the bullying in her childhood verified? I've never read about it so would be interested to! I was the victim of an incredibly manipulative bully and everyone but her victims thought the sun shone out her arse. So I can see how someone who has been the victim of that type of bullying may find they are doing it themselves as The problem with self preservation is that it can make you a bully - I think that's what happened with the whole bad blood thing.

No one really thinks Tim is a naive innocent though. His turnaround from guarded private life to pre-arranged pap photos was always going to raise eyebrows. Actors are warned against over-exposed personal lives so it seemed strange as he's not new to the game. Maybe he is choosing real love over credible career and he is wearing The Vest under his shirt 24/7. ❤❤❤

We like to laugh at Tim being like a rabbit caught in the headlights but he knows full well what he is doing. He may regret the high publicity start to the relationship now but I'm sure he drove a lot of it at the start.

And Taylor may be young but she is a canny operator.
