I think she has fake relationships for publicity purposes. Her pop music is tied to her personal life so she needs to make it exciting! Her fans think they know her deep personal thoughts because they listen to her music.

In reality, a lot of big celebs keep their personal lives out of the press so it is more than careless to be pictured as much as she is

No I don't think she has fake relationships - I think she has shallow short term relationships with entirely unsuitable men.

She comes across as one of those women who always has to be in a relationship and doesn't know who she is without one.

Eight boyfriends in eight years actually really isn't a lot, averages at one a year so I agree the slut-shaming is sodding awful (and would be even if she'd slept with an entire football team quite frankly. Hate the double standard): Even Tina Fey took a pop at her when she was seeing Conor Kennedy. She had two years of being single before Calvin so no idea why she has the rep of not being able to be on her own.
She is seen as an easy target. Hence Haters gonna hate/I can't make them stay lyrics. I actually admire her a lot. Love 'Mean' and 'Trouble' and 'Shake it off' which is 3> singles than most artists. ;-)

The photo shoot was bizarre though it has to be said. But not as bizarre as Tom's whitey brief photo shoot, channelling Burt Reynolds. That is just so not Daniel Craig. Toe-curling level of cringe. In German the word is 'peinlich' which means so butt-clenchingly embarrassing it's almost painful.

I think Tom is a great actor (I'm thinking of The Hollow Crown) so I'm not sure why he seems to be so intent on destroying his reputation, first with 'TayTo' and now this bloody awful magazine spread. And the 'photo on the bed is just plain vulgar.
