What to call my dd's 'bits'?

Posted here mainly for traffic... need answers!
We are at the stage where my dd needs (?) to have a word for her 'front bottom' (btw, I hate that term) and dh and I are not coming up with anything we like or agree on.
What do you all use? We also have a ds where we happily use willy. Just can't seem to find a similar term for girls that we want to use.
Help!

I called it a rudy growing up but my cousins/friends also used fairy, Mary, widgie, tinkle and front bum! I think my DM used rudy (rude-y) to encourage us not to flash perhaps?! Haha. We refer to our DS's bits as his willy or todger.

I think anatomically correct words are a little harsh sounding for younger children but it's surprising how many people use them nowadays. I would be shocked if in a few years time my DS came up to me to chat about his foreskin or scrotum! I like the cutesy names personally ????

To everybody wondering, Fanny can be considered rude regionally.

In some places, it is no more offensive than willy.

In others, it is a comparable word to pussy. I grew up in Manchester, and see fanny in this way like a pp.

In the US, it means bum.

We tell our DC everyone had a winkie. Boys have a long winkie which has a proper name called penis, and girls have a short winkie which has a proper name called vagina.

We didn't want to use Willy or Fanny as technically they are human names, so didn't want to confuse!

Problem solved.

My eldest is totally grossed out that girls don't have long winkies like boys though!

I would generally say 'fanny', I don't think it's that rude. If I was taking DD to the doctor, I might say private parts or vulval area, that kind of thing.

My American cousins think that fanny is hilarious.

According to the kids, a vajayjay is the bit that gets vajazzled!!!! Who knew?

DS (7) has a Willy.
DD (3) has a Wilma.
Simples.

A pee-pee.

Simple. Works for boys and girls, not offensive, not straight out of a biology book to make great aunt Hilda clutch her pearls, it's obvious what it is.

Pee-pee Grin

Toosh or tooshie in this household. The fanny thing always reminds me of that scene from Billy Elliot where the little girl says it Shock

I think the problem with non "anatomical" names is that they are not necessarily understood everywhere. If a young girl told me that, for instance, her minnie or her fairy hurt, I wouldn't have a clue what the actual issue was (until I read this thread!) I'd assume some sort of toy she was playing with had broken or something! I wouldn't want DD to be in this position, so will be using vulva with her when the time comes so that there is no confusion if she ever needs to tell another adult something about that area. (not obviously that I expect her to randomly tell strangers, but her childminder, grandparent etc)
