Yes, I know it's been said many times and it is totally ignoring his massive achievements and objectifying his deeply sexy shoulders and winning smile but jeez, what am I going to do for Saturday night fantasies from now on?

OP posts:
GreatGretzky · 23/10/2012 10:51

Oh THIS is a good one! I think I have a new favourite picture.

GothAnneGeddes · 23/10/2012 11:48

Ooooh. That is a wonderful photo.

Thank you so very much for sharing it.

AmIthatScary · 23/10/2012 12:27

Ooh, is that from the Heat shoot? I love how he can look so different smiling and moody. Hot in both

GreatGretzky · 23/10/2012 22:21

Not sure what shoot it's from, it wasn't linked to a proper source. I was trying to think earlier if I prefer moody or smiley Oscar and have decided it's impossible to choose!

OscarPistoriusGirlfriend · 23/10/2012 23:45

Ooh I like moody Oscar, that's deffo from the heat shoot. not that I've watched it a zillion times, no no no.

Peachesplusone · 24/10/2012 15:14

I agree that it's a lovely picture and I've certainly appreciated looking at it several dozen times but I'm going to be a bit controversial and say that I'm not generally so much of a fan of the deliberately sexy stuff. I always feel that I'm being sold something. I think I prefer to see him in his natural habitat of sweat and Lycra.

AmIthatScary · 24/10/2012 20:43

oooh OPG, me too, I think I know that video off by heart.

And this is how sad I am - I was watching again my favourite Always On ad (I love the sideways smile he does halfway through - I'm sure you know the one) and I wondered what he was saying talking about traffic lights.

So thank you google for directing me to South African slang words and me discovering that when OP said he does "wheelspins at every robot", then he was referring to doing very fast starts at traffic lights"

Peaches - I do know what you mean about being sold something, but I still love the mean and moody look. I love his scowl. But I love the figure hugging lycra running gear, with sweat on his brow as well. And I love his smile.

TheSmallClanger · 24/10/2012 21:19

I like the smiley version of Oscar best. He has a lovely sunshiney smile. My favourite pictures I think come from the Paralympics, mainly when he's celebrating with the relay team and looking up at the scoreboard thingy.

I've read and heard about the pet tigers, but here are some pictures on this blog. I am going to use them as evidence for when I pull him in on suspicion of a CITES violation, when he passes through my airport.Grin Ages ago, I did some research into socialised wild animals - he is utterly bonkers if he ever went near them when they were fully grown.

That blog seems to have access to lots of pictures, but never cites the origin.

AmIthatScary · 24/10/2012 23:44

Thanks for the link. That is an excellent bank of photos, some of which I have never seen before.

I spent a good hour going through it Grin

GreatGretzky · 25/10/2012 10:45

Looks like he's getting back to training. Sweaty running Oscar will soon be back!

RedZombie · 25/10/2012 16:19

Larry King snippets

I can't work out if this a real programme or not.

GreatGretzky · 25/10/2012 20:33

I think it's a web series. Never seen it mentioned as being on tv.

GreatGretzky · 25/10/2012 21:37

I'm watching the clips now, surely Larry King's voice can't be real! It's so deep! Grin Doesn't suit his face at all!

TheSmallClanger · 26/10/2012 10:49

I'd like to see that whole interview. Larry King appears to be a good interviewer, and is asking some decent questions - broaching the Alan Oliveira question, for example.
Oscar's tone of voice in his reply is EXACTLY like one DD uses when she is forced to acknowledge a girl she does gymnastics with, whom she does not particularly care for.Grin

Peachesplusone · 26/10/2012 15:32

From what I can make out, the full interview is only available to watch from the US. Maybe it'll be on YT at a later date?

Has anyone found the Piers Morgan one on YT yet? I keep meaning to look for it but can't quite bring myself to actually search for something Piers Morgan related. Ugh.

RedZombie · 26/10/2012 15:46

Piers Morgan hasn't been on yet. His PR said after the election.
Nice to see his comments on Alan Oliveria though, especially the 'I didn't handle it very well,' bit. When he ran the relay, he had a look on his face said 'he's not getting past me again'

And the more I hear the set fire to his bed story, the less funny it is. Hmm. They must be very easy going in SA.

TheSmallClanger · 26/10/2012 17:47

I saw that look over the shoulder on the relay finish line, too. There are some pictures of the two of them waiting to line up for the 400m final, sitting on plastic chairs. OP and AO are next to each other. Oscar has shunted his round so AO is looking more at his back, as if to say "yeah, it's my back, you'll be seeing more of that later." Oliveira has really got under his skin, I think.

AmIthatScary · 26/10/2012 19:34

Thanks for the links. Looks a good interview, just a bit frustrating that there's 25 minutes worth I can't get at.

Loved the answer to the Oliveira question, the wry smile when he was asked, admitting that he didn't it handle it very well, and I actually felt sorry for him when he said that he was hearbroken. So much pressure on those lovely shoulders.

I must go and have another look at 400m and relay vids to watch for the looks.

.......and I love the Vancouver Visions lady. A woman with taste. Wonder if she's a MNer

TheSmallClanger · 26/10/2012 22:44

"Urgh, Alan's farted. Dirty bastard!

AmIthatScary · 26/10/2012 22:53

Grin OP is one sexy muthafucka though.

He really is

OscarPistoriusGirlfriend · 27/10/2012 11:20

Oh he is oh so yummy.

Peachesplusone · 27/10/2012 13:10

I remember the PIL's were round for that race. While he was sat there ignoring Oliveira, MIL must have said "ooh, Oscar looks so nervous" several dozen times. All I could think was how he looked sooo hot Grin

AmIthatScary · 27/10/2012 20:55

Yep, he looks great in that photo. I think that's the look I really like the most. I think I've said before that he was quite cute when he was younger, but it is only really in the last couple of years that he has become such a beautiful man

TheSmallClanger · 27/10/2012 21:40

It's true.

I think the same about David Beckham - I have no idea what the fuss was about until he was at least 30. He took a while to find his style and grow into his looks.

AmIthatScary · 02/11/2012 23:46

Just flagging up to any Scottish MNers, that OP will be in Glasgow on 12th.

Have been indulging my new hobby in various places on t'internet.

I love that man Grin
