Yes, I know it's been said many times and it is totally ignoring his massive achievements and objectifying his deeply sexy shoulders and winning smile but jeez, what am I going to do for Saturday night fantasies from now on?

I've been trying to have a few Oscar free days in the hope of getting my crush down to a more manageable level. Needless to say it didn't work.

I'm intrigued by his recent Twitter pictures. He looks so small compared to everyone else, do you think someone has shrunk Oscar? I do hope not!

I've read in multiple places that he's just over six foot tall with either set of legs on, so either he fibs about his height, or hangs around with a lot of tall people. He doesn't appear to have bad posture, which is what makes me some people look so short.

Yes I'm sure I remember reading during the Oliviera business that he could wear longer blades that would make him close to 6'3 so I imagine he's been officially measured!

It's not just the height though, he also looks quite delicate. I always imagine him as being a strapping lad

He has lost two stone since Beijing, so I think he looks a lot beefier in early pics.

He appears to have one friend who's about 8ft tall. Doesn't he say in one of the interviews that he chose to be a bit taller than his brother? We need confirmation of his height in RL. Where's Ami when you need her?

I'd say he's about 5"10 or 5"11. AmI can probably take a better guess than me, I was on a slight step with the base of the barrier so hard to really guess his height compared to mine!

It is always hard to tell from pictures, and especially TV, which makes people look taller and/or fatter than they are.
Also, we prefer to look at pictures of him in his running kit, which is partly designed to emphasise a powerful upper body and lovely thunder thighs.

Speaking of a powerful upper body and lovely thunder thighs, I haven't seen that picture before, that's really quite a special one!

BBC Olympic site says 1.81m, wiki says 1.83, so 5'11 to 6ft ish so tallish though it's all relative.

Have had several days without Internet access, it's been hell not knowing what Oscar activity I've been missing out on. (Not that much as it turns out).

So looks like we were off the mark with the chat show idea, it seems that after the glamour of NY, LA and Vegas, he's actually spending time in the metropolis that is Woking. Sounds like great fun for Petrol Head Oscar, but I can't see many semi clad photo opportunities for us. Sadly.

Look out on the next GP broadcast, probably on the Saturday qualifying programme. We may get some fully-clothed Oscar visiting McLaren for our viewing pleasure.
