Seeing as the Sherlock discussions are dying down I thoguth I'd start a new thread for all the BC fans out there - judging by the number of MNers with him on their "List", he surely deserves his own thread.

So here it is: a place to share videos, pictures, articles and whatever else you want. The only thing I'll say is that I'd appreciate it if no one posted a link to the video(s) of BC dancing at a wedding. Apparently it was stolen from his ex girlfriend and is the cause of much upset. So lets be respectful. Otherwise, anything goes

If he's going to be a baddie in Star Trek (unconfirmed anyway), he wouldn't be a Vulcan because they're not the enemy, unless he's a rogue Vulcan I suppose. He could be a Romulan and still not disappear behind prosthetics. Or he could be a human baddie.

That clip of him pouring the jug of water over his nekkid self is a personal favourite!

Thanks to this thread (and the link to BC at the zoo) i have finally figured out what it is that makes me feel so uneasy about my hint of attraction towards Mr Cumberbatch.

I used to sleep with work with someone who has a very similar face. With his hair hidden under the hat the resemblance is uncanny.

Sadly the ex-colleague did not have the artistic flair, intelligence or wonderful voice (and is now married).

Leonie I think you're right. Listening to Cabin Pressure they definitely pronounce the first B. I shall not now embarrass myself when I meet him and greet him with "Nice to meet you Mr Cumberbatch!"

Thank goodness for the clips on this thread, the hundreds of clips I've watched on YouTube and the picture I have on my desk at work.

If I start to get stressed whilst I'm at work, I just think of one - or indeed all - of the following:

Saltire I did get it, was pretty easy actually! It is saved on my phone but I haven't set it as my alert yet. Currently I have "The game, Mrs Hudson is on!" but may switch for weekend use! For some reason my "Let's start with the riding crop" hasn't saved so I'll have another bash tonight.

BC news from Twitter:

1. He's currently filming Star Trek in Canada.
2. The Hobbit wraps in July, so MF will be free!
3. BC has won the Best Actor gong at the Critics Circle Theatre Awards for his role on Frankenstein

Points 1 & 2 give hope that they can get some Sherlock filming done in the autumn

I've just had the email to say that Sherlock has been dispatched!!!

BC is gorgeous, make no mistake, I recognise his gorgeousness. But is there no appreciation thread for Martin Freeman, or rather for John Watson? Since the last episode, and his fantastic acting, I haven't been able to get him out of my mind.

Hey - no fair posting the dancing clip when we know he is hugely embarrassed by that and it was released without his consent...

He may be adorable in it, but the video was released without his consent. The embarrassment is for his ex who took the video but had it hacked from her account. It was never meant for public viewing.
