Seeing as the Sherlock discussions are dying down I thoguth I'd start a new thread for all the BC fans out there - judging by the number of MNers with him on their "List", he surely deserves his own thread.

So here it is: a place to share videos, pictures, articles and whatever else you want. The only thing I'll say is that I'd appreciate it if no one posted a link to the video(s) of BC dancing at a wedding. Apparently it was stolen from his ex girlfriend and is the cause of much upset. So lets be respectful. Otherwise, anything goes Grin

I'll get us started with some personal favourites:

- pay close attention to the wink @ 0.42 and his whip action @ 0.51 Grin

And finally some gratuitous , with my personal favourite the black and white shot featured at 2.53 [drools]

Share/comment away Grin

I think the writer has been spying on this thread!

Kayzr · 27/01/2012 18:36

OMG, it almost describes me to a tee. I am currently under a duvet on the sofa watching series 1 of Sherlock with chocolate pudding.

I have a Cumbernest.

LetUsPrey · 27/01/2012 19:01

I'll be in my Cumbernest tonight too. DH didn't go out last night (bloody inconsiderate - staying in, doing housework and putting DS2 to bed) but he's definitely out tonight. I'm going to get the DC to bed and then settle down under a blanket on the settee with a cup of tea and lots of chocolate. I'll be watching A Study In Pink. Depending on timescale, I'll watch the next one.

DesperateHousewife21 · 27/01/2012 19:07

I want a cumbernest! Series one is still in the post do will have to wait. Anyway when it does come dh will want to watch it too do I have to keep my little sighs and moans over BC to myself.

DesperateHousewife21 · 27/01/2012 19:07

Stupid phone changes the word so to do gr!

CaveMum · 27/01/2012 19:09

I saw that article a few days ago. It's spookily accurate! The only point it fails on is the fact they failed to mention his voice. I don't think you can call yourself a true believer if you ignore "the voice" Grin

Don't forget the hands CaveMum! Did you watch the interview clip with Tom Hardy a bit further up thread? BC is playing with a peg I think. I couldn't take my eyes off his hands.

DesperateHousewife21 · 27/01/2012 19:14

roll in the hay anyone?

Maybe without the horse as an audience!

Kayzr · 27/01/2012 19:30

I want to make it clear I do not like the Daily Mail at all but followed a link on facebook to be faced by this

Please tell me you all have BC too.

CaveMum · 27/01/2012 19:31

He has very long fingers [admiring]. Bless how he seems a bit shy but totally into his subject matter!

Have you seen the part of that interview where Tom Hardy talks about BC on his own? It's rather sweet Grin

I Can't see it it just takes me to DM homepage. What was it??

Kayzr · 27/01/2012 19:55

It is the DM homepage. On mine it has BC on both sides as they are doing vouchers to get series 1 of Sherlock.

CaveMum · 27/01/2012 19:58

Sherlockology tweeted about the Daily Fail offer. Apparently if you read the small print it's actually cheaper to buy the DVD off Amazon, where it is currently £5!

DesperateHousewife21 · 27/01/2012 20:01

Ah ok I'm on my phone so that's prob why I couldn't see it.

I've just bought series one from amazon for a fiver and free delivery Grin

LetUsPrey · 27/01/2012 20:03

DH is out for the night - step one is complete.

I do like a man who's passionate about what he does and talks about it intelligently. He does seem to be rather brainy in RL too doesn't he? Feck me, I love a clever man.

I rewatched A Scandal in Belgravia the other day: love the script so much as well as BC!

'You look shorter than your photographs.'
'I took the precaution of a good coat and a short friend.'

'Shall I be mother?'
'That's a whole childhood right there.'

'Mrs Hudson was attacked by an American. I'm restoring balance to the universe.'

DesperateHousewife21 · 27/01/2012 20:05

Have fun thinking about those fingers Wink at least your dh is out so you can let your imagination run wild!

TeamDamon · 27/01/2012 20:39

OK: just settled down to watch The Great Game.

I urge you all to watch the teaser before the music right now - it's like watching a MN thread in action Grin

You'll see what I mean...

LetUsPrey · 27/01/2012 21:17

Woo hoo. DC in bed - step two complete.

I am in my Cumbernest, under a lovely warm blanket. A Study In Pink is on. If I'm lucky, I'll get chance to watch some of The Blind Banker. Grin

LetUsPrey · 27/01/2012 21:23

Riding crop! Phwoar!

LetUsPrey · 27/01/2012 21:54

Mark Gatiss is fab!

SurferRosa · 27/01/2012 22:30

I am very jealous. I've consoled myself with going through the links (again).

LetUsPrey · 27/01/2012 22:34

Cab driver "You're too modest Mr Holmes"
Sherlock "I'm really not"

Love it! Writing is superb.

CaveMum · 27/01/2012 22:58

We've just watched it too Prey - DH suggested it Shock
I'd forgotten how many funny lines there are in that episode Grin

LetUsPrey · 28/01/2012 00:22

I've watched the first two. DH came home, stayed for a few minutes, then went to bed. Looking forward to number three in the morning!
