Seeing as the Sherlock discussions are dying down I thoguth I'd start a new thread for all the BC fans out there - judging by the number of MNers with him on their "List", he surely deserves his own thread.

So here it is: a place to share videos, pictures, articles and whatever else you want. The only thing I'll say is that I'd appreciate it if no one posted a link to the video(s) of BC dancing at a wedding. Apparently it was stolen from his ex girlfriend and is the cause of much upset. So lets be respectful. Otherwise, anything goes Grin

I'll get us started with some personal favourites:

- pay close attention to the wink @ 0.42 and his whip action @ 0.51 Grin

And finally some gratuitous , with my personal favourite the black and white shot featured at 2.53 [drools]

Share/comment away Grin

DH has taken the DC out so I have about an hour to myself. However, I've got to do stuff like wrap birthday presents for a DS1's going to, load the dishwasher, hoover, have breakfast, get dressed, etc. It's not fair. I need my Benedict fix.

DesperateHousewife21 · 28/01/2012 11:04

I saw series 2 in tesco for £15, just seeing his pic on the box got me excited!

DesperateHousewife21 · 28/01/2012 11:50

Eee! Series 1 has arrived! Can't wait for my BC fix, so so so yummy!

TeamDamon · 28/01/2012 13:44

Series 2 cheaper on Amazon than that

LetUsPrey · 28/01/2012 13:56

DH went out to do the shopping so DS2 watched Cars 2 in another room (I could still see and hear him, I'm not completely neglectful) and I settled down to watch The Great Game. Then DH came home so I've about 20-30 minutes left.

That hour or so will just have to keep me going. Grin

LetUsPrey · 28/01/2012 14:00

TeamDamon - do you mean the scenes with the main menu? I just went straight to the episode this morning. Too impatient!

TeamDamon · 28/01/2012 14:21

If you just go to watch The Great Game (Season 1 Ep 3), it is the teaser before the opening credits which made me laugh last night - it was as if Sherlock were channelling the very best of MN as he interviews a criminal Grin

I did look for a link on YouTube so as not to be quite so annoying but couldn't find it, and I am sure we all have our DVDs by now... Grin Grin

LetUsPrey · 28/01/2012 14:23

Where he keeps correcting him? Loved it.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 28/01/2012 14:25

Love that scene. Unfortunately it means that the bit in Episode 1 of the new series where Sherlock says 'So you sent John and I in' stands out like a sore thumb!

DesperateHousewife21 · 28/01/2012 14:59

I'm going to have to watch series one again v soon to catch up on what you're all talking about!

TeamDamon · 28/01/2012 16:04

Yes - the scene where he keeps correcting him - and by the end the poor bloke violent criminal was correcting himself just at the twitch of an impatient eyebrow from the lovely obviously secret MNetter BC Grin

TeamDamon · 28/01/2012 16:05

DesperateHousewife - I bet you can force yourself to do it just for the sake of the thread... Wink

LetUsPrey · 28/01/2012 16:48

I'm having to watch Disney movies on Disney XD. Completely predictable and slightly yawny. I deserve to watch the last part of ep three for sitting through this stuff.

Not that I've been browsing YouTube. No, no.

DesperateHousewife21 · 28/01/2012 17:35

teamdamon yeah I'm pretty sure I can make myself. Dh suggested we watch series 1 tonight if only he knew!

CaveMum · 28/01/2012 18:12

You have to use subliminal messaging on the OHs - casually drop a reference to Sherlock into the conversation once or twice a day.

Comments like "I read there are lots of little Sherlock-ian references hidden in the series. Wouldn't it be fun to try and spot them all!" can also work Wink

DesperateHousewife21 · 28/01/2012 18:25

I've made roughly 4 references to Sherlock/BC today alone. He's going to start suspecting soon.

We watched the trailer for war horse because I said I really wanted to see it. He didn't know BC was in it so asked if it was him and I had to try and hide my dreamy 'yes' response.

LetUsPrey · 28/01/2012 18:26

I just get this face Hmm from DH. Also, I find it difficult to mention the word Sherlock without smiling!

Been listening to the Casanova audiobook - oh my oh my OH MY!

And I've been watching the Have I Got News For You that he did. Mazing.

Kayzr · 28/01/2012 18:27

I need help. Do I watch Sherlock or Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy tonight? I'm leaning towards Tinker but unsure Grin

LetUsPrey · 28/01/2012 18:36

That depends. Do you want to see BC looking lush in a suit or .... BC looking lush in a suit?

Kayzr · 28/01/2012 18:38

Hmmm both!! Actually I could have time for both. I watched episode 1 and 2 of series 1 last night. So just 3 to go.

CaveMum · 28/01/2012 18:45

Prey I listened to part if it this morning Shock

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 28/01/2012 18:46

Tinker also has Gary Oldman, although I would say he doesn't look quite as hot playing Smiley as he did playing Sirius Black in the Harry Potter films. You've a tough decision there. I think you should go with both.

CaveMum · 28/01/2012 18:49

The only, minor, problem I had with Tinker, Tailor is that I thought it resolved itself too quickly. There is so much set up to the reveal that I just thought it was rushed and happened too quickly, if that makes sense.
