And on that note I am off to bed. LordD is developing a bad case of Manthrax so needs ignoring diligent nursing.

Morning all, it's a lovely bright and breezy day here.

Twigs, I think I'm going to have swing by my local Sainsbos!

Vamps try to get some rest where you can, just reading your schedule sounds exhausting!

I am off to see what Harry things are up there ^

SuperXmassiveLBD · 07/12/2011 11:13

I am sure we share the sentiments of

I wonder why no one has done some proper visuals to this? Or if they have, I can't find them.

VictorianChristmasVamp · 07/12/2011 12:04

At kwik fit having my tracking sorted! Lots of men in boiler suits but for some reason being "loved" by them just isn't doing it for me!HmmGrin

At least it is warm in here out of the wind. Lovely sunny day here too after some
Drizzle earlier.

SNT - I know what you mean - don't feel like I have time to stop and breath at the moment!! Maybe next year...!Smile

VictorianChristmasVamp · 07/12/2011 13:00

Escaped safely!! Smile

Must watch that VoD in full sometime/somehow - need to know what actually happens as it is confusing if you've never watched it through!!

Right off to the Christmas show!!

Smilex

VictorianChristmasVamp · 07/12/2011 16:33

Where are you all??

Children!! ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!

That's all!Smile

SuperXmassiveLBD · 07/12/2011 16:37

You sound a little challenged, Vampy.Sorry i've not been around, RL has been a little too obtrusive here, in one way and another.

GoldFrankincenseAndTwiglets · 07/12/2011 16:51

'sup, Vampster? What have they done?

VictorianChristmasVamp · 07/12/2011 17:04

Just being children in December with all the hyperactivity combined with exhaustion in equal measure!! They're either squealing with excitement or screaming at each other in frustration! Sorry but I've had to resort to a glass of PC to get me through the next 2 hours til bedtime and/or the Colonel is home! Vampgirl said last night that she was forgetting what daddy looked like [don't they know how to pull at your heart strings emoticon!] so I've asked him to try and get home by 7.30 to try and catch her while still awake!! We'll see!!

How's everyone else this fine but chilly evening?Smile

SuperXmassiveLBD · 07/12/2011 17:14

I'm feeling a bit seedy atm, Vamps, probably self-inflicted, as in too much chocolate. Xmas Blush

Hopefully I will pull my socks up later on.

Meanwhile someone in a boiler suit for you

VictorianChristmasVamp · 07/12/2011 17:23

He'a certainly better suited than my quick fit man earlier! Although he was quite pretty looking in a far-too-young-for-me type of way!!Smile

A girl barely out of nappies popped in asking for her slow puncture to be looked at! There was no way she was old enough to be driving am I really getting that old that 19-20 year olds look so young?Confused Grin

SuperXmassiveLBD · 07/12/2011 17:29

What about policemen, Vampy? Confused Grin

GoldFrankincenseAndTwiglets · 07/12/2011 17:32

Vampy, it's so hard when people work such long hours and have a family too. My dad always used to be home by 6pm and we all ate together but that's very rare these days. I know my brother is never home before 9pm and so if they didn't keep their daughter up until about 10pm he'd never see her during the week at all. DrTwigs used to work in London and would often get home around 9pm but then when I got pregnant with TwigBoy a job came up very local to us and it was suggested to him in no uncertain terms that he would take this job or face my wrath :)

A glass of something sounds like a very good idea. I would have one too but I've eaten several almonds from the mincemeat recipe and they have the same number of W'Watchers points as 2 glasses of wine Shock Angry

It's a bit rubbish on the kid front here too. MissTwigs is ill again She's had some sort of a bug for about 2 weeks now (sore throat, headache etc.) She just seemed to be getting over it but then yesterday she was crying about being too ill to go to school and saying that she felt really stressed. She stayed at home and then had a very disturbed night - kept waking up crying but couldn't tell us why. She was off school again today and keeps saying how ill she feels but she's not acting ill. She's not right but she's skipping around and chatting away at the same time as saying how ill she feels! All very frustrating. She's been clingy and demanding all day and wanting me with her the whole time, but then TwigBoy has needed a bit of amusing too, not to mention all the jobs I've had to do. And DrT is away with work for a few days from tomorrow, so it's been pretty much single-parenting this week for me (though I know I shouldn't complain about a week of it when you do it most of the time, Vampy!)

GoldFrankincenseAndTwiglets · 07/12/2011 17:35

Oh, how was the Christmas show, Vampy?

VictorianChristmasVamp · 07/12/2011 17:42

Of course you can complain about single-parenting Twigster! I married the colonel knowing full well what I was letting myself in for although perhaps I didn't read the small print close enough!!

Poor twigirl - hope she's better soon - sounds like one of those weird viruses.

Um Massive - what about policemen?!WinkConfusedWink
Grin

VictorianChristmasVamp · 07/12/2011 17:49

Christmas show was rubbish interesting twigs! Each class from reception to year 3 had a slot and proceeded to either mutely sing "away in a manger" (reception), play jingle bells on the kazooHmm (year 1), dance manically to "do they know it is Christmas" (year 2) or whisper some facts about Christmas around the world and sing "oh Christmas tree" (year 3)Hmm. Have to say that vampgirl was obviously the star of the show!WinkGrin. Particularly when mouthing "WHAT?" at me trying to make her smile!Grin You've never seen such an unhappy class as year 3 this afternoon!

Not sure why they didn't just do a normal show but I'm glad I didn't make the Colonel take time off to witness it firsthand watch it with me!! Grin!

Hoping for brilliance from Vampboy's nursery production obviously!!Grin. Although I'm worrying about my effort at a costume for him as the homemade ones stood out today against the total lack of effort shop bought ones!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 19:59

I couldn't open Massive's link, so in case it wasn't this one, here's someone getting into a boiler suit!

SuperXmassiveLBD · 07/12/2011 21:14

My link was Ralph John, Maud. I shall not open yours cos I can guess what it was Xmas Blush Are you still cleaning?

Vamps you were saying your boilersuit man looked young so I was asking if policement had started to look that way to you yet Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 21:24

Only when there's nothing better to do, Massive such as post very predictable links to well-known artistic resources.
