::bangs head repeatedly against laptop screen::

My dsis has been talking at me on the phone for half an hour.

Fine me something nice to look at while I listen, pleeeeeeease?

::selflessly finds Maud something to do::

IWantSantasNewToyInMyStocking · 07/12/2011 21:43

Evening ladeez, I have been Christmas shopping today and wrapping this evening and I am exhausted and my hands ache. Does any one have any Gizzy open?

SuperXmassiveLBD · 07/12/2011 21:47

Does any one have any Gizzy open?

Here you go, SNT

HarrysCuddlyChristmasJumper · 07/12/2011 21:47

::regards empty bottle dolefully::

I'll send Imber to fetch a fresh one up from the cellar.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 21:49

::Sighs and totters off to the basement, wondering why Harry can't do it herself::

You'll like this, Harry, even without the sound.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 22:00

::Pokes SNT with a sharp stick and draws her attention to the, if I may say so, fine offering above::

HarrysCuddlyChristmasJumper · 07/12/2011 22:07

::politely reminds Maud that she is on the telephone therefore can not venture into the bibliotheque::

::effusively thanks Maud for the offering::

That was just what I needed.

::waits expectantly for Maud's next offering::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 22:10

::Wonders why, if Harry is near enough to the laptop to be banging her head on it, she can't get to the Bibliotheque - she believes that that is what young people refer to as multi-tasking - but then, she is old and senile so what does she know?::

One of our friends is famous now

IWantSantasNewToyInMyStocking · 07/12/2011 22:13

Oooh Spiri is famous!!

IWantSantasNewToyInMyStocking · 07/12/2011 22:15

Spiri??

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 22:17

::Arrives hotfoot from the basement::

I was just checking that you were awake, SNT!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 22:19

Must be difficult to type with bandaged hands, SNT!

DumSpiroSperHoHoHo · 07/12/2011 22:19

Evening all!

Glad the latest round of nativities went well. Has Miss Spiro's today - all the whining about not bring Mary, when as the narrator she had more to say than most of the other kids put together. We now have to organise a re-enactment with the cuddlies for Mr S who wouldn't make it!

It's about the third time I've been in Legenda actually Blush Smile

SNT made #16 in the WP ff charts at the weekend too, so have to admit to feeling ever so slightly smug, especially after last Monday's aggro.

Must crack on with the other one but am so busy/knackered at the mo I just can't get back into it.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 22:26

::Proffers autograph book::

I had a vague recollection you'd been on that list before, Spiro, but as I have gone off that blog big time ever since the gruesome porntastic detail in which she described her John Porter fantasy I only look at it once in a blue moon.

::Reaches for smelling salts at the recollection of the description::

IWantSantasNewToyInMyStocking · 07/12/2011 22:32

Gasps: well done Spiro, well deserved.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 22:34

So sorry, SNT, it's Dixon's night off. Here you go.

Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine

I'm off for an early night. Behave yourself!

DumSpiroSperHoHoHo · 07/12/2011 22:34

Don't think I saw that Maud.

I slightly in awe of anyone who has the patience to analyze another person in so much detail.

Besides which, I guess you could say writing stories is a way of potentially bringing one's fantasies to life (or not). She actually wrote a really interesting piece a few weeks ago about whether or not you can make character judgements about the authors of ff based on the stories they write.

SuperXmassiveLBD · 07/12/2011 22:40

It's nice to know somebody famous! And you were top of the list, this time, Spiro!

Meanwhile, have we had Maud?

HarrysCuddlyChristmasJumper · 07/12/2011 22:44

::still on the phone::

::losing the will to live emoticon::

::slightly cheered by the Gleek vid::

HarrysCuddlyChristmasJumper · 07/12/2011 22:45

::silently applauds Spiro::

Jolly well done!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 22:49

::Detained at the door of the boo-dwarr, so to speak, by Mr Thornton::

Another one that's better with the sound off, and I'm now beginning to get picky about vids which aren't HD, but even so ...

::swoon::

SuperXmassiveLBD · 07/12/2011 23:03

There isn't much choice left, that is top quality, Maudie. It's either that, or trot out the same old, same old again

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/12/2011 23:12

Yes, that's why I generally do trot out the same old, same old. . Or just pretty.

::Trips off to bed, leaving havoc, devastation and prostrate laydees in her wake::
