ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/12/2011 23:38

Who needs Google?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/12/2011 23:39

::Comes back to apologise::

::Contrite::

DumSpiroSperHoHoHo · 05/12/2011 23:40

Naughty Maud!

Right - it's been fun but I really must get some more cards made.

See ya tomorrow!

SuperXmassiveLBD · 05/12/2011 23:41

Maudie! Xmas Shock I shall start to think you are deliberately trying to stoke up my insomnia.

SuperXmassiveLBD · 05/12/2011 23:44
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/12/2011 23:44

Sorry, I thought it might raise your spirits.

::Hangs head in shame::

I'll get me coat dressing gown.

::Heads off to bed::

SuperXmassiveLBD · 05/12/2011 23:47

It certainly raised something, Maudie. My blood pressure!

But you know me, I like to live dangerously.

Bitey knight, all. Sleep tight.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/12/2011 23:52

Many apologies. You haven't become habituated to it, then? Just close your eyes and think of your tax return although maybe that would raise your blood pressure even more.

Good knight.

GoldFrankincenseAndTwiglets · 06/12/2011 09:31

Spiro, those cards are fantastic - you're so clever!!!

Off to TwigBoy's Christmas show :)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/12/2011 12:20

::Puts on jaunty pinny and starts the hoovering, this being Dixon's day off::

VictorianChristmasVamp · 06/12/2011 14:15

Maud - beginning to worry about you - you're showing signs of nesting. That's twice in 24 hours you've been cleaning the commune!!Grin

Nothing of interest to say just popping in! Spiro those cards look fab! Wish I was as creative!

Smile
SuperXmassiveLBD · 06/12/2011 14:44

All quiet on the Island front, also. We might have people coming later, so I may not be back today.

And now for something completely different

Well, maybe only a bit different. Xmas Wink

VictorianChristmasVamp · 06/12/2011 15:28

Ohh interesting Massive. I found one for Maud although there may be too much DDA! Grin

VictorianChristmasVamp · 06/12/2011 15:30

ooh I'm liking this patchwork quilt pattern - do you think I could find somewhere to make it up for me?! Grin If I got it in Black & White, it would fit the colour scheme of our bedroom so the Colonel could not complain!! Smile

VictorianChristmasVamp · 06/12/2011 15:34

Maybe Santa's New Toy does exist?!!

And one for Massive & Lady D! you naughty girls Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/12/2011 17:23

Pah! Once again, my posts broke Mumsnet.

I had tried to say that they were nice drawings (even though they make Mr Thornton's superlative thumb look like a sausage) and that while I'm here on my own with nobody except Mr Thornton to play with, I might as well make myself useful!

::Wields feather duster with a flourish::

How goes it today, Vampy?

VictorianChristmasVamp · 06/12/2011 17:35

Hi maud! Im ok - still numb. And can't force myself to talk to anyone in RL much! Which is very unlike me!! I've just had another sneaky nap!! Thank goodness I've got reliable children!! Shock. Off to burn some food now!

I thought that too about his thumb! But was focussing more on the cut of his shirt and how it settled around his ::whispers:: throat neck.

IWantSantasNewToyInMyStocking · 06/12/2011 17:39

Hello ladies, l love those christmas pics, especially the knaughty knight!

GoldFrankincenseAndTwiglets · 06/12/2011 18:16

TwigBoy had his nursery nativity today. It was beyond cute. He was the Angel Gabriel - he had a starring role which consisted of, wait for it, standing up :) He hated his costume and said "I've got to wear a stupid yellow thing on my head" which turned out to be a tinsel halo!

Vampy, it always amazes me that your children let you sleep!!

VictorianChristmasVamp · 06/12/2011 18:22

They don't have much choice Twigs - I just pass out and there's nothing they can do to wake me!! Wondering if I should mention it to the doctor tomorrow as I may have mild narcolepsy?Hmm hypochondriac emoticon [joking]

How cool that both Twigboy and Vampboy are Angel Gabriel!! You didn't have to make his costume then? I've still got his to finish - must get around to it this week sometime!

GoldFrankincenseAndTwiglets · 06/12/2011 18:36

Oh yours is Gabriel too?! How funny! No, luckily we don't have to provide nursery costumes, only for the older children. He did look adorably cute and self-conscious :)

DD's was harder - she needs a tunic but had no idea to make one until someone suggested cutting arms and a head hole into a pillowcase - brilliant! I still had to get my mum to do it for me though

IWantSantasNewToyInMyStocking · 06/12/2011 18:58

Toyboy minor is a 'child' in his play Hmm. Toyboy major was in his last night. I'll say no more than that.

GoldFrankincenseAndTwiglets · 06/12/2011 19:35

ROFL @ I'll say no more than that :o Oh, but you have to now though!

GoldFrankincenseAndTwiglets · 06/12/2011 19:36

Btw, Toy, I upped the price on my last one and sold that too :o #definitelyoweyouadrink
