Oh for God's sake, this will have been dreamed up in conference last week by executives at the Daily Mail. She will have been asked to write it as it fits in with her image of being mad as a box of frogs (like all women with jobs who aren't married and don't have children, which is against nature).
I very much doubt if it is true.
The usual suspects can then be wheeled out to say how disgusting and spout venom about easy benefits and single mothers (see comments).
It's part of the Daily Mail's misogyny, ie, if only we could go back to the 50s when men were in charge. Look how awful the world is, etc.
And the Tories will give Paul Dacre a knighthood and carry on cutting benefits, especially for women.
I don't think we should give it any further attention, it only encourages them.
