Did I ever tell you that LordD is away this week on a jolly work trip, to China? Anyway, he is. Left early Saturday morning, comes home late next Sunday night.

Was DNephew's christening on Sunday which was nice, just hard work without LordD to protect me from the usual family madness that attends such occasions.

Then Dad rang early Monday morning to tell me about Grandma which was the last thing I was expecting and I spent part of today at his house discussing funeral arrangements yet again. It was all a bit surreal, if I'm honest.

Back home now and the house feels a bit empty. Normally I love being on my own but tonight I'd quite like the company.

Catching up with all the studying I've missed over the weekend should distRAct me quite well though, I'm sure.

I have Spooks 7 & 8 in my Box of Lust, still in their cellophane, Smallio. Given that I am a total wimp, would it be wise of me to liberate 7 and ogle Lucas all by myself?
