Ta-da!

Come on then Lady D, wallop the Champagne over our bow :)

Sorry you're still poorly, Massive.

Small, how was your night out?

I wish theatre wasn't so expensive. I just paid over £80 just to see the pantomime at our local theatre Shock As for London theatre, it just seem prehobitively expensive, what with train fare into London. I really want to take MissTwigs to see Mamma Mia but it's just sooooooo much money :( £60 for one night out is just 'avin a larf.

LadyD, if LordD ever goes to visit his BF then you come too and we can do girly things whilst they do boy things!

LadyDamerel · 21/09/2011 21:21

It's the second one, so series one, then?

::goes to hunt it down::

Small, they're for a 21st birthday. 70 cupcakes on a stand then a cake on top with a sugarpaste model of the birthday girl sat on that. So nice and simple then Hmm.

I put a few pics of my cakes onto my profile the other day for another thread, if it's still accessible, if you fancy a nosy. Don't feel obliged though!

LadyDamerel · 21/09/2011 21:24

I'm with you on the theatre prices, Twigs. It was over £100 for us all to see Joseph, plus petrol to Manchester and parking. I wish I could go more often but it's just too far to manage easily.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/09/2011 21:27

Blimey, LadyD, those are serious cakes. You will have to do me a 'Gizzy tied to the tree or other place of your choice' cake, for my next birthday.

You don't have to put Richie on it for obvious reasons... Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 21/09/2011 21:29

WOW, LadyD, there are some I haven't seen on there - that handbag one is incredible. Are you sure that's really fondant and not actually a leather bag? :) And the wedding table with all those figures...

Right, I am going to bed because I am STARVING. Having not bothered with the diet all of the summer holidays I ended up putting half of what I lost back on again so it's back to it this week.

::snort:: at the recycled clothing but, really, that is a very poor example of a cravat.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/09/2011 21:32

Poor Twigs, I hope you don't dream of LadyD's wonderful cakes now. Night night.

Russianpony · 21/09/2011 21:33

Still here!! Had to finish my online shop so
Popped back into the academy again to pick up something I know I must have left here!!!

Theatre is expensive but if ever any of you discovers RA is treading the boards anywhere I think I'd probably pay too whack for front row seats!!!Grin

Absolutely no idea about your acronyms!! Just going with the flow! Admiring the view!!

So many garrison towns how do you know which one ?? Which side/end of the country??

Cake sounds fab! Maybe you could bake something to send to the man. Maybe you already have?Hmm

Just checking - have any of you pushed the boundaries of obsession into stalker and actually tried to communicate directly??!

SupermassiveLBD · 21/09/2011 21:34

Maudie, I think dear Johnny has got his cravat into a bit of a twist there. You can see his little shirt button.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/09/2011 21:38

PLFW - Spiro said Robin was a petulant little f*ckwit, once, and the name stuck.

I think one of our number has actually breathed the same air as the Man - I thought I'd mention it as i know she'd never do so herself. Smile

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/09/2011 21:40

And ::gasp:: at LadyD's cakes. I wish I'd commissioned one for my birthday (although postage to Chateau Maud might have been prohibitive).

I agree that London theatre prices are painful but as we seldom go out, I reckon this can be my one indulgence. And I do love it. One meets such interesting people at the thee-ay-ter.

::fans self::

SupermassiveLBD · 21/09/2011 21:41

Oh. I see she just did Grin

Russianpony · 21/09/2011 21:41

Really can't see the attraction in Robin at all!! So it's a good name!

I remember someone going to that 24 hour play thingy last year! Go on who was it? My memory is rubbish but I remember we were all v v v v EnvyEnvyEnvyEnvy!GrinGrinGrinGrin3

Russianpony · 21/09/2011 21:42

Actually wad it you Maud??? I think it was!!!Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 21/09/2011 21:43

T'was our Maudie. Were you with us then, RP? That was a night and a half!

Russianpony · 21/09/2011 21:45

I was here from the beginning. Initially as a lurker then got sucked in!! Up til Christmas then the colonel got home and RL took over!! Won't be making that mistake again!!!Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/09/2011 21:48

Ha! There I was not mentioning that I paid an horrendous a perfectly reasonable amount of money for the cheap seats, to see the Rector treading the boards, and Massive drops me right in it! Sadly, RussianPony, it's looking as if his burgeoning film career may mean it's some time before he does so again. And no, I would not write to him, ask for a signed photo, hang around the stage door or otherwise demean myself. I confine all my ridiculous behaviour to this thread.

I agree, Massive, that something is not quite right with that top button. Darling Johnnie needs someone to fluff his cravat and I don't mean his old bat of a mother, either.

::nobly volunteers self::

SupermassiveLBD · 21/09/2011 21:51

We have missed you, RP. Understand about RL though. such a nuisance, interfering with the important things. Angry

TheSmallPrint · 21/09/2011 21:53

Shock Envy at those cakes - they are AMAZING!!!! Hobby my arse! Grin

RP yes it was Maud but we don't mention it much Wink other acronyms include PSM - pretty spy man and there are several floppy shirt ones which Massive and Maud can fill you in on. There are few more that I can't remember until someone writes them.

Russianpony · 21/09/2011 21:55

Just as long as he doesn't disappear completely into bit parts in films!!

Me too Maud! Would never dream of stepping out of the safety of this thread and fantasy but seems he gets sent all sorts!! Find it fascinating that some women feel sending him underwear or aftershave will mean he'll fall madly in love and marry them.....HmmHmmHmm maybe it would....HmmHmmHmmHmm worth a punt????HmmHmmHmm ah shoot I'm already married!!WinkGrin

SupermassiveLBD · 21/09/2011 21:55

Maud, he's obviously been running a nervous finger in between his collar and ... sit down before I mention this... his neck, thus disturbing the perfect sit of that elegant gold cravat

TheSmallPrint · 21/09/2011 21:55

Twigs it was a bit hit and miss, it wasn't my favourite person but it was a night out so can't complain!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/09/2011 21:57

This is the FAF or Fallen Angel Face, because he looks as if he could have been painted with Botticelli.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/09/2011 21:58

I was of course referring to Mr Thornton's neck, not the Man's, to whom I would never dream of sending a personal communication of any kind.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/09/2011 22:02

Ooohh, Massive. I think I can withstand the mention of his neck, but if you were to mention his throat, I'd be a lost cause.

A thread or two back, RussianPony, you'll find one of our learned discussions about the blog of some deranged harpy enthusiastic fan who had attended the Captain America premiere and then pounced on him as he walked down the street, to ask for a photo with him. We collectively hoisted our bosoms and Did Not Approve.

The FWTSNS is the Floppy White Time Share Night Shirt which, purely for reasons of parsimony, Mr Thornton and I share.
