ROFL, Spiro. I see you can leave comments. Wouldn't it be rude not to, I wonder?

What are we like though? Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 28/09/2011 14:08

Thud, indeed, Spiro. Being that charming should be illegal Angry

PassTheTwiglets · 28/09/2011 14:54

That interview really is lovely, Spiro - he seemed to be on the verge of giggles throughout. And oooooooohhhhh what is he like with a blue shirt off on? he makes my ovaries ache.

RP: but twigs I think I probably was away during that moment

Actually, I guess I pretty much explained it above anyway, in reply to Massive, but some while ago someone posted a picture and I commented that I could just nibble the little pointy bit at the top of his ear. Maud said I should nibble on some Twiglets instead and hey presto - the little wonky bit became a Twiglet (hence my username). It's funny but his Twiglets only show from a certain angle:

Now you see it

Now you don't

I actually Googled "RA Twiglets" to try and find those pictures before I realised they aren't really called that

SupermassiveLBD · 28/09/2011 15:00

Oh Twigs

SupermassiveLBD · 28/09/2011 15:45

After that interview posted by Spiro, where mention of the infamous circus was made, would anyone like to see a picture of it?

I wondered about it when the Man said it was still there when he was filming RH - wonder if the elephants remembered him?- and indeed here it is.

PassTheTwiglets · 28/09/2011 15:55

I highly recommend Prardar, Massive.

I meant to Google that cirus too, Massive. I always feel sorry for slebs who have an 'interesting background' story - he must get soooo sick of the question. When the interviewer says ".. and now here's an interesting thing!" he must inwardly sigh. Fair's fair though, he always manages to make his answer appear fresh. I think I would yell "YES I WORKED IN A CIRCUS, NOW ASK ME SOMETHING ORIGINAL!"

yes, the poor lamb, I do an advance cringe for him now, thinking, are they or are they not going to mention the circus. If i was an TV interviewer, I would never do anything like that I'd just hum a few choruses of 'Nellie the Elephant

Russianpony · 28/09/2011 16:22

That interview is devine!!! Thuddity-thud!!! He's just so lovely!! It's definitely his eyes that do it for me ladies - I could just stare into them for hours with an silly school girl grin on my face!!

I see what you mean about the circus question - did you see the relief in his face when ex-tennis player bloke said "amazing what you do for an equity card!". But proves that Penny whatshername isn't a fan, if she didn't actually know that all already!! Definitely no attraction from her towards him is she actually a woman!

Twigs - I see what you mean about the ears - probably how he got his role as a dwarf/elf/goblin whatever he's being!

Russianpony · 28/09/2011 16:23

OMG Blush devine Blush - I did used to be able to spell though for all my lack of literary appreciation!!

He is DIVINE!!! I know how to spell honest!!

Russianpony · 28/09/2011 16:25

BTW The Colonel was asking after last night's party at lunch today. He then took my phone to look something up on the internet and saw Twigs favourite photo still on my browser and said that "we were as shallow as a small puddle!". Not very nice is it but probably worryingly true!! Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 28/09/2011 16:27

ROFL at Nellie the Elephant!

Well, I have spent the whole morning doing endless stupid little chores and got now writing done at all so am now feeling immensely PO'd and tired. Sad

At least the weather's good and I haven't got a house full of wet washing!

Russianpony · 28/09/2011 16:36

Only just saw Massive's post about Nellie!! ROFL One would hope that he would have the sense of humour to laugh at that!!

LadyDamerel · 28/09/2011 16:52

Why are all the morning TV interviewers so irritating and I'm with you on the circus question. Note to researchers: everyone knows that, find something original. TIA

Chores here all day too, Spiro. It's been a productive day it's amazing what you can achieve when you don't spend hours MNing and googling RA but oh so dull.

Got to do dinner now so MasterD1 is fed before he goes out later.

LadyDamerel · 28/09/2011 16:53

Oh Massive, you and he could do a little duet of Nellie......

SupermassiveLBD · 28/09/2011 16:59

I have visions of him dropping into an academy gathering and one of us saying desperately sotto voce , a la Basil Fawlty, "No one mention the circus"

Lucky old elephants, though, I dont see what Nellie had got to flounce about Grin

Russianpony · 28/09/2011 17:26

I have visions of him dropping into the academy

Can you imagine if?!!! Of course!!!! If he did I hope I don't faint/dribble or generally behave as an insane being control myself!!Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 28/09/2011 17:40

LOL at the Basil Fawlty don't mention it! :o

Re. the circus thing, to be fair, the vast majority of people watching/listening to these interviews don't know anything about him other than "oh, isn't he that bloke who was in Spooks?" so it is a good story for an interview (and his PR will probably have included it in the pack they send to the researchers) - I just feel for the poor love having to answer it in every single one! If I was interviewing him, I'd only have :o

Russianpony · 28/09/2011 17:42

ROFL Twigs - how did I know that link would be to that song? because that's the same question I'd be asking!! Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 28/09/2011 17:44

Did you really guess, RP?! LOL!

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 28/09/2011 17:45

The Twiggy coat of arms

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 28/09/2011 17:47

At least you would be classy and intellectual and say it in French, Twigs.

Actually if he really did drop in I bet he'd have a whale of a time. Because we would ll be very very lovely with him --when we'd imbibed just enough PC to be witty, but not enough to let our dark sides out of the bag-

DumSpiroSpero · 28/09/2011 17:55

I guessed the same one - ROFLM*O!!! Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 28/09/2011 17:55

Massive - I'm not sure my dark side has ever been in the bag Blush!

SupermassiveLBD · 28/09/2011 17:55

Moi aussi, Twigs.
