I haven't blown our cover at all, Maud, never fear!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/09/2011 09:39

Good. We can all continue our top-secret work of national importance.

::Dons dark glasses and trenchcoat::

DumSpiroSpero · 27/09/2011 09:44

Don't you mean international importance? Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/09/2011 09:47

::Lowers dark glasses::

Or possibly even inter-galactic importance!

DumSpiroSpero · 27/09/2011 09:50

Or possibly even inter-galactic importance!

Now that would be something for a fan fic!!!

I never got to the end of Tumbledown either, Maud. And is this is a new series of Campus or repeats of the last one? We loved that show. Did anybody watch Twenty Twelve? That was the other one we liked recently.

Spiro, HAHAHAHA at Small's been at it again :o RP, I did submit a question but they haven't printed it. It wasn't rude or emabrrassing though, honest :)

I've just taken the liberty of a little me-time and watched a few interviews I've not yet seen. That Radio 1 interview, when he hugged the girl at the end - oh man, that could so have been me :) I actually blushed whilst watching though! I loved how there were about 10 women in the studio - there would be one or two at the most, usually! Funny how several people would always find a need to be in the studio for certain shows :) I just had to take our programme box over to the studio when Simon LeBon was on - there was no way that it could have been done one hour earlier or one hour later.

Yes, he did seem very ill at ease in the LK interview. He wouldn't look her in the eye for most of it! I looooooooove LK but she did interrupt him a lot.

Oh, I have a LOL for you. I was reading The Hobbit in bed last night and when DrTwigs came up he said "are you scanning it for a bit where Thorin gets his shirt off?" :o

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/09/2011 10:13

I've seen Tumbledown before, Twiggy, but somehow it seems even more harrowing now than it did when originally screened. I see things differently, I guess.

I had never heard of Campus before but when I looked afterwards in the Bibliotheque de Wikipedia, I realised it must be a repeat. It reminded me of A Very Peculiar Practice, which I loved. Yesterday wasn't in fact Campus, it was Fresh Meat. I was obviously not paying full attention to The Bloke as he zapped through the channels and gave a running commentary on what was available. And I was very tired.

Russianpony · 27/09/2011 10:17

Ooh Spiro!! You are naughty!!!GrinGrin putting a picture of the Colonel up! Now our cover is truly blown. What an utterly gorgeous photo!

Grin .

DumSpiroSpero · 27/09/2011 10:24

ROFL at "a bit where Thorin gets his shirt off" (is there one?! Hmm)

Maud I think you'll find I've actually lost my heart to a Naboo Fighter Pilot!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/09/2011 10:30

::Wonders whether RussianPony and the Colonel would like to run an Academy outward bound course featuring

camouflage skills

obstacle course

build your own bivouac

and night time manoeuvres::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/09/2011 10:34

Oh dear, Spiro. I was never fond of the hair gel overload look, but I guess we all have our youthful and not so youthful indiscretions.

The Girl had to write an essay yesterday about her favourite Tolkien character and I was so proud of myself for not saying "what about Thorin?"

DumSpiroSpero · 27/09/2011 10:36

I don't think the hair gel is that bad tbh - and he strikes me as someone who might have 'difficult' hair and need a bit of help in that department occasionally, so I'm willing to let him off! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/09/2011 10:39

::Waits for Spiro to start raving about the perfection of his toenails::

Russianpony · 27/09/2011 10:44

I'm sure we could oblige!! I think there is YouTube evidence of the Colonel giving orders somewhere!! But I'll work on the rest!!Grin

Got to pop out for a "playdate" now!

I'm going to have to re-read the Hobbit now and see if I can find the "shirt off bit!!"Grin. Something tells me they won't be able to write in gratuitous naked torso shots into Tolkien films though!Smile

Russianpony · 27/09/2011 10:44

ooh just remembered it's book club tomorrow evening, maybe I'll suggest the Hobbit as this month's book innocent emoticon!!

DumSpiroSpero · 27/09/2011 10:48

I've just said he's got imperfect hair, Maud, why on earth would I think he had perfect toenails?! Confused

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/09/2011 10:53

Final proof that the Colonel is John Porter!

Sorry, Spiro, another joke that clearly didn't work. I was teasing you for being willing even to excuse the 80s hair gel overload.

::gets coat::

DumSpiroSpero · 27/09/2011 10:57

Well, as a salve to the hair-gel phobic Wink...

[[http://twitter.com/#!/faboamanto/status/118497883698896896/photo/1/large How about this?!]

DumSpiroSpero · 27/09/2011 10:58

Sorry - this. Bit distRActed!

PassTheTwiglets · 27/09/2011 11:12

No, there isn't a bit where Thorin gets his shirt off - sorry to get your hopes up :)

Mmm, military men giving orders - I'll never get the dinner finished now :)

Those more ::ahem:: youthful pics don't do it for me at all. Not sure why, he just doesn't look like 'him', I think.

LK does blether on a lot during her interviews, doesn't she? I always find myself on the brink of shrieking "Be quiet and let him talk, woman!" (and not just during impoRtAnt interviews either).

I did ROFL at Smallio getting the blame for all the hand confessions. After all the Mount Gisborne she had last night I think she may not be quite as innocent of the most recent one as she proclaims.

Lovin' the pic of the day, Spiro. Well done that woman Grin.

DumSpiroSpero · 27/09/2011 12:10

I was pondering the idea of Pic of the Day, not terribly seriously, when the administrator tweeted a few weeks ago asking for requests and it seemed rude not to! Grin
