::takes coffee gratefully::

There isn't a full fry up to go with it, is there?

Russianpony · 25/09/2011 15:02

want a mug for your coffee ladies!

Poor you Lady D - hope it passes quickly. My last major hangover lasted about 3 days!!Shock

Never drinking that much again!

Russianpony · 25/09/2011 15:03

ooooh I need a new T-shirt for Pilates - do you think I could persuade DH? Smile. I'd let him have one with Emilia Fox on it!!Grin

Russianpony · 25/09/2011 15:07

Really must get on with some Sunday afternoon chores, but were you like Lady D!Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 25/09/2011 15:38

Loving the mug and tee-shirt. Grin Nicer graphics than the ones I have seen before.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/09/2011 15:43

There's money off that t-shirt, RussianPony - you simply have to buy it.

::thrifty::

I wonder whether the people denigrating SAHMs have ever stopped to calculate the hours of help they have to buy in because they don't have the time to do it themselves? Spiro's estimate of £12k seems on the low side to me.

Oooh. Spooks tonight. Lovely Harry (ok, not lovely in that way, but lovely nonetheless)(although my friend went into a reverie yesterday at the recollection of when he got his kit off gave a powerful and emotional performance in Equus).

SupermassiveLBD · 25/09/2011 15:56

Who played Dysart in that production, Maud?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/09/2011 15:59

I have no idea - I didn't go. Was having a stage-struck chat with some chums yesterday. Will go and rummage in the Dept of Speech and Drama archive ....

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/09/2011 16:03

.... I would guess (from the probable date) that it was Alec McCowen. Why do you ask?

SupermassiveLBD · 25/09/2011 16:54

Just wondered. As a reformed Trekkie I remembered Leonard Nimoy (Mr Spock) played him on Broadway for a time.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/09/2011 17:12

My friend wouldn't have seen it on Broadway, Massive, and Peter Firth was a lovely-looking boy.

That vid, Spiro, has lovely visiuals but the music .... yeuch.

::More a Frank Sinatra kinda girl::

SupermassiveLBD · 25/09/2011 17:17

Oh, Spiro. You are trying to get me to burn the dinner again, aren't you?

SupermassiveLBD · 25/09/2011 17:24

He was indeed Maudie.

I rather like the music to that vid.Not something I would go for as a rule, but it fits the theme so well.

SupermassiveLBD · 25/09/2011 17:28
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/09/2011 17:28

Sadly, it looks as if the longer version of this has been removed from the Bibliotheque de Youtube, so .

I do agree that the match of music to visuals in that vid is very good but I am too much of an old biddy to appreciate the music itself.

PassTheTwiglets · 25/09/2011 17:39

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Maud, thank you for that picture of young Peter Firth. From now on, whenever I feel in need of cheering up, I shall look at that :) :) : ) :)

SupermassiveLBD · 25/09/2011 17:42

Old biddy or not, I had it running through my brain all the time after the first time Spiro posted it. So were the visuals, gawd help me. Guh!

But out of that context, I would not like it at all.

re the young Peter, it's kinda sad what happened later. but doesn't it just come to us all?

SupermassiveLBD · 25/09/2011 17:43

Come on, Twigs, he's sweet! Smile

Russianpony · 25/09/2011 17:49

Who's Peter Firth? I think I may be showing my youth, but I don't remember that children's program?

DumSpiroSpero · 25/09/2011 17:50

You are all making me LOL!!! Grin

I love the song with that Guy vid - especially the first lyric - "It's amazing...I'm the reason...everybody's fired up this evening" - just perfect for our Sir Giz! Could just imagine him with his big sword and that arrogant thought running through his head when he's really got his mojo working.

DumSpiroSpero · 25/09/2011 17:50

Peter Firth = Harry from Spooks!

Russianpony · 25/09/2011 17:52

Hmm - not sure harry naked would be my cup of Brew. Although it would make me a cradle snatcher, think I could have coped with Daniel Radcliffe though!! BlushGrin

Russianpony · 25/09/2011 17:53

Aahh!!! You see as Lucas is a real person to me, therefore Harry is too!! didn't realise they were really Actorrrrs!Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 25/09/2011 17:54

Re the leathersw - I was referring to the slightly rock-godesque photo, not the kids TV activities, which as we all know can be done [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wgTm-sidsI so much better]!
