How was the dinner party, Spiro - did the ice cream work?

We had a couple of friends and their dcs over for an impromptu chilli last night. MiniDs went to bed at midnight, MasterD2 got up at 7. Today is going to be so much fun with him .

Watched the final episode of S2 this morning and cried when Marion died . King Richard is pretty damn hot, though of the potato face variety a little.

You evening sounds nice Lady D - good luck with the littlies today though!

Last night was good - didn't get to bed 'til half one. The ice cream was a success - thank goodness after all that work (and there's some left over ).

LadyD, how did the excavations go? Well, presumably, or Lord D would be helping the authorities with their enquiries, rather than hosting impromtu chilli parties.

That last episode of season two is so sad isn't it? I still tear up whenever I think of it.

A quietish day for me but I have chores to do, worse luck I shall keep popping in every now and then though to reward myself.
