I was just thinking...I know how I like my tin foil couture.

SupermassiveLBD · 25/08/2011 22:59

Ooh, i love that poem, Spiro

His boots were up to his thigh Oh, crikey!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/08/2011 23:00

Well, what do I know?

::fashion-free zone emoticon::

SupermassiveLBD · 25/08/2011 23:01

Spiro, I can only repeat, oh crikey.

DumSpiroSpero · 25/08/2011 23:01

The beginning of it makes me think very much of 'our' highwayman, but then it gets more and more grim.

LadyDamerel · 25/08/2011 23:01

Maxim deWinter doesn't do it for me, tbh. I re-read Wuthering Heights for the first time in about 15 years last week and grew rather fond of Heathcliff but I can't think of a literary hero outside of Mr Darcy/various interchangeable GH men who really makes me . Must go and peruse my library to jog my memory.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/08/2011 23:04

No, Maxim de Winter doesn't make me but maybe I've just never seen the ::cough:: right actor in the role. There's plenty of duality there to be explored.

LadyDamerel · 25/08/2011 23:04

::kicks self for missing extremely obvious and gratuitous link to Guy::

The scenes where he's trying to fight Robin in that get up makes me laugh so much, especially when he jumps into the barrel of water.

DumSpiroSpero · 25/08/2011 23:07

I know this is totally wrong, but am.listening to the news and Orla Guerin has just been.talking about 'improvised big guns'...

Also, is it just me, but whenever I hear Supermassive Black Hole, I always think of this potential change to the lyrics.

LadyDamerel · 25/08/2011 23:07

Mmm, I'm with you now, Maud.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/08/2011 23:10

That just takes me to a sort of YT menu, Spiro. I gather Muse are at Reading/Leeds this weekend and are going to be on the goggle box (BBC3 or do I mean 4?)

LadyDamerel · 25/08/2011 23:11

@ Spiro. I think that may be the definitive sign of the truly, irreversibly obsessed, my dear Grin.

If reports on Libya make you think of The Man you need urgent desensitising!

In line with your personal tastes, Massive?

SupermassiveLBD · 25/08/2011 23:14

PS, who has been taking my nick in vain Confused

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 25/08/2011 23:16

I only meant so he doesn't snuff it, at the end, Mr Thornton. That facepalm was entirely unjustified.

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 25/08/2011 23:17

The re-jigging did occur to me but I thought that whilst fanfic is one thing, re-writing classic poetry could be going a step too far.

Speaking of which, 'Gisbourne's Revenge' will be going live in the next few minutes...Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/08/2011 23:20

I am so sorry, dear lady. Please forgive me.

SupermassiveLBD · 25/08/2011 23:20

Bother, I got the 666 yet AGAIN i'll never learn!

SupermassiveLBD · 25/08/2011 23:22

Oh, gorgeous pic Maud! Utterly thud-tastic.

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 25/08/2011 23:25

Oh, the crinkles in that pic....

::thuds next to Massive::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/08/2011 23:26

I knew I shouldn't open the link.

As I might have mentioned once or twice, Massive, everything about Mr Thornton is utterly, thoroughly, completely thud-tastic.

DumSpiroSpero · 25/08/2011 23:34

Gizzy's Revenge Chapter One.

Be warned, it's quite boring but it won't stay that way! Wink

SupermassiveLBD · 25/08/2011 23:42

That was quick work, Spiro Grin
