It most certaianly is not, LadyD. As we're already on the floor, so to speak, we might as well welcome .

LadyDamerel · 23/08/2011 22:25

Is that different from the other event you attended at the Old Vic, Maud?

::looks innocent::

LadyVenetia · 23/08/2011 22:28

I'm well thanks, Massive. You?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/08/2011 22:29

Well, since you insist, no.

::wafts ticket stubs in front of screen, in low rent version of Skype::

SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 22:32

I am very well, indeed thanks Lady V. though a trifle fatigued, i had a bad night.
I was planning to go to bed early but now I seem to have perked up. Must be all those stimulating vids Lady D and Maud have found for us.

Grin. Maudy, you're so transparent you'd make a fantastic window.

Hullo, LadyV, how are you?

Nosferatu is rather, ahem, steamy, isn't it? That's a new piece of ReseArch to me but not unwelcome at all.

SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 22:34

ah Lady D, you have set Maud off again on her Close Encounters of the Thud Kind kick

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/08/2011 22:36

Not really, LadyD, it's just that this thread is (in my eyes anyway) itself like a piece of theatre in which we all have our roles and there are certain set pieces that have to be performed every so often. Have you really missed all the previous screenings of Nosferatu, aka the Vid of Mass Destruction?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/08/2011 22:37

I refer you, Massive, to my previous answer.

DumSpiroSpero · 23/08/2011 22:37

Ooooh Massive - I find it hard to believe that's one of your faves - you're not a fan Sergeant Porter usually?

Not that I'm complaining in the slightest Grin

Daren't watch any more at the moment as suspect Mr S will be on his way up shortly - roll on Thursday!

LadyDamerel · 23/08/2011 22:39

Wink Massive

LadyVenetia · 23/08/2011 22:41

I'm well thanks. Recovering from the exhausting experience of running an impromptu poll on Twitter! None of those video links work for me :(

LadyDamerel · 23/08/2011 22:42

Oops, that should have been Wink Maud. I was only teasing, that's why I asked in the first place, because I knew.

DumSpiroSpero · 23/08/2011 22:43

Who won in the end Lady V?

Will have to check in the morning for the answer and Mr S is coming up to bed!

Night all - sweet dReAms.

LadyVenetia · 23/08/2011 22:45

Peter won :)

LadyDamerel · 23/08/2011 22:45

Who mentioned Colin alongside Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy earlier?

Is it the divine Mr Firth to whom you are referring?

LadyDamerel · 23/08/2011 22:46

Peter who? Who was he up against? Why?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/08/2011 22:49

Yes, and I knew that you knew. It's all part of the script. Just insert an imaginary tongue in cheek emoticon after each of my posts.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/08/2011 22:51

That was me, LadyD. I was reading in Sunday's paper that Lovely Colin (as he is officially known to some of us on this thread) is in the new film of TTSS, although not as Smiley (that will be Gary Oldman).

LadyDamerel · 23/08/2011 22:53

And I knew that you knew that I knew that you knew ::stops that game going any further::

SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 22:56

Porter may not be my primary area of interest Spiro, but i can spot a good thing when i see it.

And there was a Gizzy vid in the mix somewhere - Paint it Black.

I must awa' tae ma beid too, with guess who!

Poetry corner

[To be read by any passing jobbing actor with, perhaps, experience of audio books]

Big fleas have little fleas,
Upon their backs to bite 'em,
And little fleas have lesser fleas,
and so, ad infinitum.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/08/2011 23:01

For LadyD.

.
SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 23:03

Beats doing voice-overs about mucky houses, Maudie. Though I expect it would fit in with the theme pretty well.

Right, must really disappear. night night all.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/08/2011 23:06

Good night, Massive (and anyone else I've overlooked). You're right about the poem although I was looking forward to welcoming Mr Thorin into my lovely home/squalid hovel.
