But really, Massive, who cares?

::swoons just a little over Massive's Man For All RSeasons::

PassTheTwiglets · 23/08/2011 14:05

The drawing came from a site where she'd done other bits too, will see if I can find it....

SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 14:09

He is rather lovely isn't he? I do wish i were artistically inclined, i'd do one myself.

PassTheTwiglets · 23/08/2011 14:10

Nope, 'tis a real drawing, apparently - you can see it in each stage, on this page

If you go to this page, loo kat the menu on the right-hand side and there are several more Guy pics.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/08/2011 14:15

Coo. I can draw pretty well but can never achieve that degree of likeness. I doff my cap to her.

SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 14:16

oh, GROAN Twigs, some of those bits are just aaargh!!

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 14:27

Pass us the smelling salts, will you, Maud, there's a dear.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/08/2011 14:35

You're looking very pale, Massive. Do you perchance need a doctor? Or an accountant? Or a 19th century industriaalist?

SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 14:53

All of the above would be very nice, Maud, I am sure. But not necessarily simultaneously.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 14:59

Poor Gizzy. I think my enthusiasm got the better of me

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 23/08/2011 15:02

What do you mean but "groan", Massive...? About the drawings?

SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 15:04

Yes, Twigs, the drawings. It was a groan of appreciation.

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 23/08/2011 16:56

Ah, I see. I had only thought of groaning in the sense of not liking something... or in the sense of Chapter 9 :o

DumSpiroSpero · 23/08/2011 17:02

Wow! When I saw the first painting I thought "That's a bit inspiring - I might have a go at some of that." Then I saw the others and...erm...no, I think not!

They are amazing, especially this one

and

this one, where he couldn't look more 'panther like' if he tried.

I just love the close-ups at the bottom of each page.

SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 17:32

had only thought of groaning in the sense of not liking something

Grin I thought you knew me better than that, Twigs.

She's a wonderful talent, isn't she, that artist? It is so good a likeness she gets, it's almost uncanny.

OMG, the close-ups of stubble and sideburns. Oh my ovaries. Blush

Hello :)

DumSpiroSpero · 23/08/2011 17:37

Well that's 40 minutes of meal planning time knocked on the head thanks to The Panther! Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 23/08/2011 17:37

Hi Insomnia - am guessing those pics won't be helping you sleep?! Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/08/2011 17:45

Hello Insomnia. Do please stay and chat.

What are your ::cough:: research specialisms? How long have you been a student and does your OH know about your studies?

PassTheTwiglets · 23/08/2011 17:46

Hello Insomnia!

Well maybe it's just me but I can't go gooey over a drawing*, however lifelike it is. You weirdos. :o

  • although I've always had a soft spot for this chap
SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 17:52

Twigs, I was trying not to think of that sort of drawing. He looks as if he's just been shovelled out of the back of one of Spiro's taxis.Wink

Hi, Insomnia. and welcome!,

Beans on toast again in Spiro Mansions, is it?

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 23/08/2011 18:03

Half-arsed bolognese which I think was made and frozen at the end of last month - pay day tomorrow thank God!

SupermassiveLBD · 23/08/2011 18:12

Sometimes that's a good excuse for not cooking though -- speaking as one who has been known to play on Mr M's parsimonious streak to her own advantage.Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 23/08/2011 18:15

He looks as if he's just been shovelled out of the back of one of Spiro's taxis

That is exactly what he's supposed to be, Massive :) Well, whatever the olden-day equaivalent is...
