MissTwigs just asked about the Academy brooch so I explained it to her - she rolled her eyes and said "honestly..." in a world-weary way :o

TheSmallPrint · 05/08/2011 09:02

So you've all finally rolled in smelling of stale booze Grin I didn't find anyone odd (but you know what they say, theres always one and if you can't see them then it must be you!)

I forgot you went to the 3D, that is much more expensive, hopefully our local cinema will do 2D.

Spiro thank you again for the lovely gift, it took me til I got home to figure out the yellow rose

DumSpiroSpero · 05/08/2011 09:08

Well, Small, the 3D was only about £3 extra so still pretty steep compared to 'out of town' prices.

Glad you liked the brooch Small, Grin at you being mystified by the rose - they were the first charms I bought!

PassTheTwiglets · 05/08/2011 09:21

I'll describe the brooches for our absent friends - Spiro had got large pins and attached several charms to them, one for each chaRActer! There was an adorable little wolfie for Guy, a Russian doll for Lucas, a gun for JP, a blindingly-obvious-what-it-was yellow rose for Mr Thornton :o and then a small letter A charm - whic I told DrTwigs stands for Academy :o They are utterly cute and fabulous.

PassTheTwiglets · 05/08/2011 09:30

LadyV and Spiro, I may possibly be, ahem, finding Between The Sheets as we speak. I didn't know how to find things before and always left it to DrTwigs but needs must when the Devil has a crush...

DumSpiroSpero · 05/08/2011 10:16

The 'A' was intended to stand for Academy, Twigs - I'm not that adolescent! Grin

If you manage to 'find' BtS - please (please, please, please) Blush let me know!

TheSmallPrint · 05/08/2011 10:27

I thought the A was for Armitage!

TheSmallPrint · 05/08/2011 10:27

Can you find it for me too please?

PassTheTwiglets · 05/08/2011 10:29

I thought it could stand for either .

Well it has been 'found' but I have no idea what to do next so will have to wait until DrTwigs gets home to do the next bit. Will do you a copy send you a 'perfectly legitimate honest guv' disc.

DumSpiroSpero · 05/08/2011 11:07

Tbh Small I thought twice about putting the 'A' on, but I couldn't find a Yorkshire Rose for John Standring & the sheep charms I found were hideous.

LadyVenetia · 05/08/2011 11:19

What are you expecting Dr Twigs to do with what you have "found" about Between the Sheets? Are you just talking about ordering the DVD - coz I would be a bit wary about opening a clip file in front of him Blush...

DumSpiroSpero · 05/08/2011 11:20

Pic of brooch on profile.

DumSpiroSpero · 05/08/2011 11:22

Presumably he'd only have to download them though, not open the files?

SupermassiveLBD · 05/08/2011 11:34

Morning ladies. So glad you had fun yesterday. That waitress's comment is the best indication of just how well you were getting on in RL, I think!

Spiro, am loving the brooch -especially the cute wolfie of course.

Twigs, was this what you were looking for?

PassTheTwiglets · 05/08/2011 11:47

Massive! MWAH! That's the one exactly - thank you :) I was saying yesterday that it was on my phone but it had disappeared (or rather it is now blank when I look at it Confused) and I couldn't find it anywhere. It seems that I can only have about 5 photos on my phone and once I add some more, the others disappear. Most odd.

I was, um, thinking he could watch it with me - would that be a terrbily bad idea? I thought he might get something out of it too if we watched it together :o And yes, I was talking about downloading, not ordering. I would've ordered it but not when so mnany dodgy copies are around.

TheSmallPrint · 05/08/2011 11:47

Blimey, that's what I'm^ looking for Massive, don't know about Twigs Grin

Spiro I love that ad for Mr Porter on your profile Grin I like the A btw, so good choice.

Thank you in advance Twigs.

PassTheTwiglets · 05/08/2011 11:50

Maybe I ought to wait for him to have a night out then and watch it by myself. #newplan

SupermassiveLBD · 05/08/2011 12:16

Twigs, I think they have re-arranged the Strike Back section on the screencaps website, so the link would no longer have been valid. When I went back to the source, it was there all right.

PassTheTwiglets · 05/08/2011 12:35

Oh, there was a thing on Twitter about the Recopgnise mag photographer having seen the photoshoot layout, so it is going to happen (yesterday people were saying they thought it was all off, for some reason).

DumSpiroSpero · 05/08/2011 13:25

There were rumours that the mag had folded & Jacob Kamara who posted the original Tweets has left Recognise but said he wasn't aware of any problems.

Is it wrong that after a lovely 'day off' yesterday, it's only lunchtime & I'm already losing the will to live...?

PassTheTwiglets · 05/08/2011 13:54

A day off isn't always enough though, is it? I've done nothing but play on the PC all day (well, a bit of housework) but am just about to take the kids out to the park. Of course they've been coming in every twenty seconds to get me to sort out an argument though

I feel a bit anti-climax after the excitement of yesterday :(

SupermassiveLBD · 05/08/2011 14:05

In that case, how about a hug from Hug-h Jackman. Twiggers? Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 05/08/2011 14:10

LOL at that pic of him in the water with his daughter (like he oughta) - he is so sucking in his gut there :o

DumSpiroSpero · 05/08/2011 16:01

If I ever come on here and say I'm going supermarket shopping with DD on a Friday afternoon - please send the men in white coats round ASAP Confused

PassTheTwiglets · 05/08/2011 16:43

How about a man in a white shirt instead, Spiro?

I do most of my big shops online but I never go when I have the kids. Nightmare. My sympathies!

Well I took the kids to the local woods where they have a lovely natural play area but MissTwigs moaned and complained the whole way so I just said "right, that's it!" and brought them both home after half an hour. I did feel a bit bad, as they've been stuck indoors for 2 days, but I couldn't stand it any more.
