Morning (just about). Can't sleep due to stressing. The SBs are fast on so I can't even blame them this morning.

DumSpiroSpero · 03/08/2011 07:14

What are you stressing about Small, work?

Have a pic of the day to cheer you up!

DumSpiroSpero · 03/08/2011 08:46

Just found a Tweet from someone saying they thought that Recognise Magazine is out on 7th August.

TheSmallPrint · 03/08/2011 08:57

Yes Spiro, someone trying to subtly blame me for their failure to perform. Totally unjustified I might add but try are trying to get themselves out of the poop by any means necessary. Thanks for JP, wish the real thing were here to sort this fella out.

Btw John Barrowman is on Radio 1 at the moment..

DumSpiroSpero · 03/08/2011 09:00

I know that feeling - had something similar myself recently, although luckily I tend to hoard my emails so the other person came badly unstuck!

PassTheTwiglets · 03/08/2011 09:08

Oh Smally :( No fun getting up at that time when you have to 'cos of kids, let alone when you don't have to. Will you be able to sort it out or prove it wasn't you?

Ta for the Recognise info, Spiro.

Today will be good, I hope - gym this morning then DrTwigs is coming home early 'cos I'm going to have my hair done. Just for you, Small :o (not really, it's just the only day my hairdresser had free in the next 2 weeks but it's not as funny that way)

DumSpiroSpero · 03/08/2011 09:23

We are off to a local 'Family Fun Day'. Hoping to tire Miss S out so I can have a nice peaceful evening while Mr S is playing cricket.

Cross your fingers for me Grin!

PassTheTwiglets · 03/08/2011 09:25

The mere words "fun day" make me think it's going to be anything but. Hope yours is fun though!

PassTheTwiglets · 03/08/2011 09:27

Oh, I don't mean it makes me think that your thing won't be fun, I just mean whenever I see those words in general.

Can I have a little personal hurrah? I have been attempting to get down to a particular stone bracket since March and I have finally done it, yay me!

PassTheTwiglets · 03/08/2011 09:28

Think I deserve something tasty to nibble on, as a reward

LadyDamerel · 03/08/2011 09:48

and there was me thinking that would be a yummy link...

:)

SupermassiveLBD · 03/08/2011 10:22

Well done Twigs from me too. I seem to be on the up again re the old avoirdupois Sad Dashing about too much perhaps -- or maybe just greedy when there are goodies about.

In case I don't get the chance to say it again later, I do hope you ladies will have the most perfect day ever. Raise a Wine to the Man from me too.

SupermassiveLBD · 03/08/2011 10:23

Tomorrow, I meant to say of course

LadyDamerel · 03/08/2011 10:26

How about a nice healthy congratulatory snack, Twigs?

Masive, hope today is a better day today. How much longer do you have to endure?

PassTheTwiglets · 03/08/2011 12:53

Oh goodness, LadyD, he'll catch his death of cold... than you for the thought though. You know, Nigella says she has a packet of Twiglets a day when she is dieting... she reckons the strong taste makes you feel like you are eating more.

I hope it won't be as hot tomorrow as it is today We will raise a toast to absent friends. I am having a contact lens crisis though and really didn't want to, ahem, do Herr Beanz with my glasses on... I think he deserves perfect vision.

SupermassiveLBD · 03/08/2011 13:47

Twiglets are great, indeed, but I think Nigella must be nibbling on the wrong kind , judging from her generous curves.

Herr Beanz looks very sexy in his glasses, so I am sure he won't mind yours, Twigs.

PassTheTwiglets · 03/08/2011 14:21

I always think I like Twiglets (talking about the crisp kind, for once!), as I love Marmite, but then I try them and remember that I really don't like them much. I'm the same with polenta, whenever we're in Venice.

My glasses are just a bit scratched, Massive, and I can never keep them clean. Not conducive to sexy baddie viewing.

DumSpiroSpero · 03/08/2011 14:29

The mere words "fun day" make me think it's going to be anything but.

Nail on the head Twigs!

PassTheTwiglets · 03/08/2011 14:35

Oh dear, that's a shame, Spiro. Is the 'fun' over yet, or are you still there? About an hour to go and then you can start your countdown to a nice evening :) What are your plans for this evening?

DumSpiroSpero · 03/08/2011 15:10

Miss Spiro is having an early night & Mr S is out so I'm going to have a bit of a pampering session, get myself sorted for tomorrow & some mumsnetting & reading.

SupermassiveLBD · 03/08/2011 15:29

My glasses are just a bit scratched, Massive, and I can never keep them clean.

I have exactly the same trouble, Twigs. And when I'm watching sexy baddies, they tend to get steamed up. Smile

That sounds like a perfect evening, Spiro

TheSmallPrint · 03/08/2011 15:30

Afternoonio. Nightmare bloke sorted - he has been 'replaced' by someone altogether more useful.

Twigs you have seen the forecast for tomorrow haven't you?

Congrats on reaching your target, I haven't been shredding with this heat, it makes me feel sick.

LadyDamerel · 03/08/2011 17:01

Yay, Small - that was very quick but glad you'll be able to concentrate tomorrow without worrying.

Wine Cheers!

Dashing in and out, not had time to read thread yet, but just to say to Small & Spiro, no need to bother printing the voucher if you haven't already as I was able to print several copies myself (thought it'd be one per person but it's not). Just make sure that you guys keep your train tickets in case we need to prove that we ravelled by train - I've never had to yet but just in case.

Back later.
