I am brain-dead tonight so this is rubbish - just a place-holder. Please do something else if you can think of a decent one!

For one brief moment there I thought Lucas had made you walk like John Wayne, Spiro Grin.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/07/2011 13:49

Ah, once again the ton of the conversation plummets.

A propos last night's identities, all I am willing to say, Twiggy, is that I am not the only one to use correct forms of internet punctuation. But anyway ::cough:: I wasn't at the party, was I? Until very late, that is.

LadyDamerel · 08/07/2011 13:53

We must tell Gizzy to leave his wenches behind in Locksley next time I feel, Maud.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/07/2011 14:51

I did think as much, Maud, otherwise you were talking to yourself :) Nice trick, whoever that was! Mind you, am fairly convinced Small was talking to herself at some point :o Oh I do like the 'who is it?!' aspect - really adds to the fun :)

DumSpiroSpero · 08/07/2011 16:37

Have just looked back at last night's antics and counted 18 guests!

Nor bad going - am starting to wonder if we had some lurkers joining in Hmm...

LadyDamerel · 08/07/2011 16:52

I wondered that too, Spiro. That or someone ::hard stare all round:: was very, very quick at name changing.

I loved FrankNFurter's appearance at the end - it rather took things off into a parallel universe Grin.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/07/2011 17:11

Oh yes, I checked the times too! Can people really namechange in 30 seconds?! LOL, I reckon it was actually The Man himself, as he could join in anonymously and enjoy all the attention :o

But ha-HA, LadyD, I see you can do the :: things too... Miss Scarlet in the drawing room with the candlestick!

TheSmallPrint · 08/07/2011 17:32

I often talk to myself Twigs, that's what happens when you work on your own Wink

PassTheTwiglets · 08/07/2011 17:33

LOL Small :)

LadyDamerel · 08/07/2011 18:01

Me? ::whistles innocently::

(The clue is that Maud is far more eloquent that I!)

SupermassiveLBD · 08/07/2011 18:36

Hmm, Gizzy had fun last night, didn't he?

Nice change for him though, I suppose, he usually only has me hanging round him.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/07/2011 18:47

Of course, if she had thought to ride side-saddle in a proper decorous manner, she wouldn't have the problem of a gap between her knees as wide as the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/07/2011 20:29

Damn this Bombay Sapphire and Spooks 9.1, it's so taxing?

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 08/07/2011 20:45

I feel for you, Twigs, I really do [hgrin]

FrankNFurterDoingTheTimeWarp · 08/07/2011 21:07

Thank you, my dear ladies, for making me so welcome last night. I've been to some wild parties in my time, but yours was really something!

SupermassiveLBD · 08/07/2011 21:15

Any time Frank. Would you like a pair of Spanx to go with that frock, by the way?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/07/2011 21:27

Evening all.

Guess what choon has just popped on the soundtrack of Girl's cringingly awful choice of film? .

::lends Massive great aunt Agatha's ostrich feather fan::

And I took one for the team earlier when we were in the supermarket, browsing the comics. I browsed Empire and can report that the picture of Thorin OakDiningTable is as out of focus in the mag as it is online. So save your money.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/07/2011 21:36

Hello Maud, and thank you for your act of extreme team spirit -- to actually allow yourself to be seen perusing the likes of Empire en plein Sainsbo's, is certainly above and beyond. the call of duty

More and more, I think PJ is lazily toying with us -- another couple of dwarves revealed today, but not the one we want to see.

Thanks for the loan of the fan, I hadn't seen that thud-tastic vid for a while, so it came in most handy. I dread to think of Lady D's reaction when she see it. Oh, lawdy, Miss Maudie.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/07/2011 21:44

Actually, it was Waitrose. And after perusing Empire I turned my attention to the MN Rules. It's that kind of shop.

I am now watching the divine Miranda.

::Turns fire extinguisher on Massive, just in case::

::Worries about LadyDamerel, who is still quite new here and perhaps hasn't built up the necessary immunity::

SupermassiveLBD · 08/07/2011 21:46

I have been racking my brain trying to remember what those dwarf's boots reminded me of..
Then all of a sudden it came to me

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/07/2011 21:55

Wellies. Perfect for wet weather. Is it raining where you are, Massive? Do you need an

SupermassiveLBD · 08/07/2011 21:57

*Collapses on floor, gasping with unbridled lust

SupermassiveLBD · 08/07/2011 22:00

Not the Umbrella one mind you, nice though that was...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/07/2011 22:04

I thought the umbrella vid was rather lovely, but then there were plenty of cravat shots.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/07/2011 22:07

Indeed it was lovely, but it lacked the, ahem, immediacy of Something Kinda Oooh.
