I am brain-dead tonight so this is rubbish - just a place-holder. Please do something else if you can think of a decent one!

Who else, Small!

Who have we got for costume and music?

TheSmallPrint · 13/07/2011 14:37

Isn't Maud a musical person? Perhaps LAdy D could do costume?

Twigs needs to do the cakes! Grin and perhaps she would like to share the make up artisit job with me? I'm sure we can manage the role between us with our other tasks.

SupermassiveLBD · 13/07/2011 14:42

I thought Twigs would be the sound recordist as well, what with her experience in the audio field and all.

TheSmallPrint · 13/07/2011 14:45

well she can do sound then and I'll struggle on with the make up on my own

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 15:24

I'm bagging this job, please. If I can cover a cake in buttercream then I can cover a certain Man's countenance in my best Bobbi Brown.

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 15:32

Sorry Small, we'll share - it appears to be a 2 person job anyway, from the evidence.

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 15:35

I tell you what, you can shave him and I'll do the slap.

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 15:37

I bet you've all seen it before but this made me chuckle.

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 15:43

Can't we just cut to the chase and cover The Man in buttercream? Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 15:44

I can't look at any links as I have DD on one side of me and Mr S on t'other!

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 15:44

And then roll him in cake off cuts and jam Grin.

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 15:45

I've escaped to the kitchen to avoid ds1 & friend on the Wii. I am letting myself go made on google images Grin.

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 15:46

And then roll him in cake off cuts and jam

I wouldn't last that long too busy licking the buttercream off Blush Grin

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 15:48

Oh no, I don't like buttercream without the cake and jam, not even if I was licking it off a Man. It wouldn't take long to roll him in it if you were well prepared.

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 15:54

You'd certainly need a big Brew to help wash that down!

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 16:05

OK, that's enough naughtiness.

Time to restore some

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 16:15

I was looking for the lovely MrT to bring a little propriety back to the Academy but the battle of the cravats has me in a quandry.

If they were both there, in the flesh, beckoning me into their carriages I genuinely don;t know who I would go with.

PassTheTwiglets · 13/07/2011 16:25

I will do sound recording, buttercream-licking and Continuity of Twiglettage. I could've done sound editing in the old days but not since it went all digital and techno and whatnot... I failed dismally at that.

Perhaps LAdy D could do costume?

Yes and I'll do getting him out of costume...

So Massive, have you done any more writing that is shareable with us? I have loved what I've read of yours so far. And I really LOL'd at why are we having this script conference in a tent? :o

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 16:32

I'm not sure I'd be very good at costume, especially if it was a period piece. I would need to spend too much time tying the cravat in exactly the right knot.

But I am willing to try, for the sake of the film.

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 16:35

Twigs did you use 'cut & splice' for editing? T

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 16:49

Hahahaha

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 16:57

A little present for Maud.

SupermassiveLBD · 13/07/2011 17:15

That mug is not bad actually, LadyD. Fun, but not too overt.

Twigs, I haven't done anything recently that's finished. I have been slogging away for what seems forever at something a bit longer than my usual romp. Not sure it's working though and I don't think you'd find the subject matter too interesting. Wink

PassTheTwiglets · 13/07/2011 17:20

We didn't call it that, Spiro, but it must be what you mean as we used splicing tape. We physically cut the tape with a razor blade and stuck it back together with tape. Did you do that? In later years I had to go on a course to learn how to edit on a PC and that just made no sense at all to me. not very interesting fact: I edited my own wedding march music :) #ponce

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 17:43

Yep that's the one Twigs. Only did it a couple of times during my brief stint at hospital radio.

Haven't done audio editing on PC, but am doing some photo/audio editing at the moment...Blush
