I am brain-dead tonight so this is rubbish - just a place-holder. Please do something else if you can think of a decent one!

::looks back at you from halfway up Spiro's stairs::

I appear to be a little lost, this isn't the Priory staircase

::returns to lounge::

May as well stay up for a bit.

Sad, in what way, Massive?

SupermassiveLBD · 12/07/2011 23:54

Poor Gizzy is so unlucky in luurve, you see, Lady D. And he looks so soulful about it. and pretty darn hot with it, too

^^

Needs must, Spiro, needs must Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 12/07/2011 23:57

Bozhe moi, check out the dwarfian weaponry though. And Thorin's is supposed to be even bigger [hshock]

DumSpiroSpero · 12/07/2011 23:58

Needs must indeed!

I have just had a very rude thought, but I'm not going out there

DumSpiroSpero · 12/07/2011 23:59

And Thorin's is supposed to be even bigger

Oh my...Blush!

SupermassiveLBD · 12/07/2011 23:59

I think I just did Blush

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 00:07

It wasn't the same rude thought as yours Massive...

SupermassiveLBD · 13/07/2011 00:11

Well variety is the spice of life I suppose Wink Must call it a night myself. Sweet dReAms to all

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 00:12

at the very thought of Thorin's extra large sword.

(We are so going to be facepalmed again by Maud tomorrow Grin)

Massive, I want to scoop Gizzy up and give him a big cuddle when he has that soulful, hurt look in his eyes. Too much angst for one man to handle, I think.

Loathe as I am to admit it, those dwarves really are a big improvement on the previous few that have been revealed, maybe I will manage to sit through the film I'l go and see it just for the sake of ogling Thorin's big sword if I'm honest.

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 00:14

You will get an interesting surprise when you watch Sparkhouse, Lady D!

SupermassiveLBD · 13/07/2011 00:20

PJ is definitely toying with us, with the dwarf reveal.

Again, night night all.

LadyDamerel · 13/07/2011 00:21

If we are talking nudity then I need prior warning so I can sort the best arrangement of pillows to cushion my inevitable collapse.

If we aren't then I apologise profusely and will attempt to drag my mind put of the gutter yet again.

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 00:25

No we're not talking nudity - oh, wait a minute....

...no not nudity, although there are a couple of, ahem, interesting scenes (let's just say I've watched all 3 hours in one hit on more than one occasion)...

...there is another character in it you'll recognise.

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 00:49

A very old article (courtesy of Lady D) which is well worth a read IMO, although you may need to wait until you can sit down with a large PC!

Morning, all! Goodness, what gorgeous pics last night. Small, I liked the vampiric one - I think it was the extra-blue eyes that did it. But OMG, the 'Nosferatu' picture. That scene/still has always been very inspiRAtional for me, but I'd never thought of it in that way until Maud gave it that title - it was then that I too had my first out-loud gasp/groan at a picture. Golly.

Spiro, I don't get it - why is LadyD going to have a surprise with Sparkhouse and why are we talking about another character? Confused Off-thread, if it will be a spoiler for LadyD. And whilst you're at it, you can PM me your very rude thought too :o

I am getting very impatient with all these not-quite-there-yet Dwarf reveals!! Do you think PJ is deliberately leaving him until last? Obviously Our Man has a large... no, Spiro fanbase but I bet most people haven't even heard of him, so it's not like he is waiting to reveal Johnny Depp or someone....

PassTheTwiglets · 13/07/2011 10:05

Just read that interview, Spiro. Oh Gawd, not another one who finds it soooo hard to stay faithful, the poor dear... Hmm It's an odd article - why would anybody give that much personal info away? I wonder whether he really said all of that.

But what a coincidence when we were talking about tent action just yesterday :o

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 10:29

Well he was a lot younger when he did that interview. I interpreted it as being more about the temptation than the actual being unfaithful.

I am sure PJ is leaving Thorin until last - there are 5 more dwarves to go apparently!

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 10:34

Have just had another look - "It's a constant battle to stay faithful" are actually the writer's words, not his, and it is the DM Confused!

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 13:35

Apparently Recognise Magazine are shortly going to be adding a pre-order button to the website for Issue 9!

SupermassiveLBD · 13/07/2011 13:35

Interesting interview. He seems a lot less trusting nowadays, which is a good thing for him, I am sure.

Aside from all the revelations they winkled out of him, what i found fascinating was this:

I want to know how that feels again because I can't do that in real life

That's a bit how it is with writing, and perhaps even more so. You can be absolutely anyone, sometimes several people at one and the same time, and do anything, go anywhere... After which, RL seems very ho-hum.

SupermassiveLBD · 13/07/2011 13:37

ROFL@ Recognise Magazine 's pre-order button. I bet they have never had such interest! Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 13/07/2011 14:07

Massive, I thought exactly the same thing about writing when I read that article Smile

SupermassiveLBD · 13/07/2011 14:12

Obviously, Spiro, what needs to happen now is for you and me to collaborate on a blockbuster of a film script for him. Grin

Everyone happy!

SupermassiveLBD · 13/07/2011 14:13

Why are we having this script conference in a tent???

TheSmallPrint · 13/07/2011 14:17

Can I do the scenery design?
