Margaret Hale Academy of Tea-Pouring & Wallpaper Selection at the University of Milton Northern

Welcome to our new common room which, as you would expect, is decorated in impeccable taste (despite the limited choice of wallpapers available in Milton Northern). Above the marble mantelpiece hangs a portrait of the Vice-Chancellor of the University. As we recline elegantly on the chaise longue, we partake of tea and ratafia biscuits and discuss the works of Plato, although in the evening the finest wines and Polish cordials may be served.

Tbh it's season 3 I'm most interested in but will force myself to watch 1 & 2 first.
Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 22:42

A shame you have to scald your eye-balls with the PLFW too. Still, you can FF his bits. Iyswim. Wink

LadyDamerel · 02/07/2011 22:47

I think the Amazon people may be a little bemused at the sudden influx of orders for RH as I've just ordered mine too Grin.

Perhaps we should schedule a synchronised watch and subsequent in depth analysis of the deliciousness of a man in black leather themes and roles of the bad guy in RH??

TheSmallPrint · 02/07/2011 22:55

Evening ladies. See you've been busy and thank you for the voice over link -mmmmmmm Grin

Lady D, Amazon have lost all surprise at the large scale ordering of RA related stuff, just watch what comes up when you type in one DVD name - other people who bought RH1 also bought

DumSpiroSpero · 02/07/2011 22:56

I did ff the PLF when I got a few episodes out of the library.

Off to bed now as am shattered. Sweet dreams one & all.

SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 22:59

Sounds like fun Lady D. maybe we need to find some way of disposing with the respective DHs/DPs, so we can all give our studies the serious attgedntion they deserve.

I think Amazon are used to us by now. I bet Brian has just scratched his head and said to Darren, Hey those weirdo Academy birds are at it again. What has that Armitage bloke got that we ain't, mate?

SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 23:02

Hi Small, x posted with you. Great minds think alike re Amazon.

Goodnight Spiro! Who knows, this might be your lucky Lucas night, given your viewing choice tonight.

TheSmallPrint · 02/07/2011 23:03

Night Spiro!

Hi Massive, how's things?

SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 23:04

What went wrong with my attempt to type the word 'attention', I wonder...

TheSmallPrint · 02/07/2011 23:05

I had a dReAm the other day but I can't remember the details, I can Only remember that it was quite detailed Confused

SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 23:05

I'm good, thanks, Small. How are you bearing up? The end in sight yet.?

SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 23:07

Was the end in sight in the dReAm, then? Grin

TheSmallPrint · 02/07/2011 23:09

Still mad but hopefully after next week it will calm down. I'm still with you all just don't hav time to engage too much.

I'm off to bed now but will try and drop in tomorrow. Night night..

LadyDamerel · 02/07/2011 23:09

Absolutely Massive. At the moment I restrict my visual studying to the daytime because DH is always underfoot in the evening, though I may have to start ironing teatowels and underpants if I'm to justify how I've spent 6 hours in front of the TV Grin.

LadyDamerel · 02/07/2011 23:10

Night all!

TheSmallPrint · 02/07/2011 23:11

I wish I could remember Massive! I'll see if he comes back for seconds tonight Wink

SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 23:18

Poor you, Small. Goodnight, and good luck with DReAm II
I still have to dream about Gizzy again, but I feel ungrateful to be miffed about it!

Grin @ the thought of Lady D's DH marvelling at the very new phenomenon of his beautifully ironed undercrackers.

::staggers in::

Evening all. Look what I just found when I was searching for something else entirely. Move over, Mr Spacey.

SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 23:35

That is rather good. Richard III used guyliner too!

Of course, you know what i'm going to say, don't you Maudie?

Now is the winter of our discontent...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 02/07/2011 23:36

Oh, yes, what a glorious summer. And meanwhile ...

Love-thirty, love-forty, oh! weakness of joy,
The speed of a swallow, the grace of a boy.

I had meant to say to LadyDamerel that if she searches our not inconsiderable number of old threads, she will find the notes from all our learned discussions on such topics as Darkness of Garb, Darkness of Heart: Black Leather as the Exemplification of Moral Complexity in Robin Hood.

And the RH box sets represent pretty good value for money if they become your child's Saturday morning viewing of choice. Ahem.

SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 23:43

Mmm, anyone for tennis?

Form an orderly queue.

SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 23:48

Good lawdy, Miss Maudie, and fiddle-de-dee,what do y'all mean, posting such temptacious totty at this late hour? And there was little me hoping to get a few hours undisturbed rest, after my taxing daily round.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 02/07/2011 23:52

Profuse apologies, my dear. I thought you might like to be reminded of the many erudite discussions we had about Guy and his chest the nuances of his relationship with you Marian.

So I won't bother to say that if you tire of tennis there's always rugby.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 02/07/2011 23:57

I liked it really, you know I did. And that wasn't exactly UF soldier boy's chest to the fore in the rugby pic...
