Of course, I am violently allergic to cats...

The only picture we have of the Dean is not overly flattering but in my head he looks a little more like this

Come in, enjoy, help yourself to Twiglets.
Yours sincerely, a Fair Trespasser.

Evening all. Now who's been dissing my potato-fa... um, I mean my lovely Rupes? . Sorry I had to bail earlier, btw Small - PC went out and I couldn't come to your rescue :)
I must say that as gooooooooooorgeous as RPJ is, he can't act for toffee. He is quite shockignly bad, it must be said. Still love him though :) Small, what did you think of Silks in the end? I couldn't get past the first episode.

LOL @ SB going commando :)

So I have had a Spooks S9 crisis. I mentioned earlier that I suddenly realised I'd never seen the DVD extras from S9. Well I found myself with some free TV time and thought I'd watch them. Then I realised why I hadn't seen them - I don't have the DVD :o

That is a spectacular blonde moment Twigs!

Anyone got Watchdog on at the mo? They are doing a big feature on reading the SmallPrint!

PasstheTwiglets · 19/05/2011 20:45

It's still £silly on amazon but a bit cheaper on eBay... I've sniped one for tomorrow and will see how that goes.

I don't think he's a bad actorTwigs, maybe not up to the standars were used to here but not bad no worries about the pc, ican take a hint Grin

Spiro have you not hovered over my status? Wink

TheSmallPrint · 19/05/2011 21:07

How have you watched series 9 without the DVD Twigs? Did you just see the tv screening?

SupermassiveLBD · 19/05/2011 21:10

I should really get back into the habit of watching DVDs. I used to get the house to myself, some mornings so I used to make a pot of coffee, fire up the telly and the player and settle in. I still have an episode of SB I haven't seen, I need the middle series of RH and I want to watch Spooks 7, 8 and half of 9 straight through.

Can anyone suggest a way of luring my family away from home for a week or so? It could be somewhere they'd enjoy themselves, I am a kind soul, after all...

TheSmallPrint · 19/05/2011 21:23

Encourage an all boys camping weekend Massive. Imagine it. A whole weekend free of testosterone - well, other than on the tele obviously!

SupermassiveLBD · 19/05/2011 21:33

Well there is testosterone and testosterone, obviously... Grin

Camping is far too much like hard work for my lot though, they like their creature comforts.

SupermassiveLBD · 19/05/2011 21:47

Now Toblerone, you can't have too much of.

TheSmallPrint · 19/05/2011 21:49

I like the testosterone that doesn't leave a mess everywhere or horrible smells Grin

Maybe the could go to the cinema and bowling and dinner, that could give you a good 6 hours to yourself?

SupermassiveLBD · 19/05/2011 21:54

They'd want me to go with them Confused I wonder if there are any boys' films in the offing whose subject matter that they know I would hate-- such as the adventures of an ex-SAS man perhaps, in various locations such as Sarf Effrika, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/05/2011 22:03

Evening all.

So, not only does Rupey have a face like a potato, he is (and I quote) shockingly bad as an actor. Oh be still my beating heart.

::Wonders what the qualifications are for being on Twiggy's List of Lust. Having a pulse, presumably::

That vid of the snog from Persuasion was all very well, but the kissing was somewhat amateurish and the cravat-wearing decidedly so-so.

Massive. You need to (1) hire MrM an office so that he longer loiters about Casa Massive of a morning and (2) enrol the SuperBoys in scouts/Outward Bound/the island athletics club/video game rehab or whatever else it takes to get them off the premises once in a while. Virginia Woolf was right. One does need a room of one's own preferably with a functioning dvd player and the N&S box set.

SupermassiveLBD · 19/05/2011 22:18

I wish, Maud. We shall see. If things get really desperate I suppose I could buy a portable DVD player and go and sit in Starbucks. Or wait! the lappy would do at a pinch, wouldn't it?

Talking of , wasn't that the new Lady Gaga number?

DumSpiroSpero · 19/05/2011 22:28

Massive - bathroom, portable dvd player, large glass of wine, even larger door lock - sorted!

That cravat photo was stunning Maud - I wouldn't post too many like that - you might find yourself with competition!

Grin
DumSpiroSpero · 19/05/2011 22:32

Awesome! Just seen that Stephen Fry has been cast in the Hobbit - should get some good tweets from him when the time comes.

SupermassiveLBD · 19/05/2011 22:40

Bathroom no good chez Massive, my lot are as good as incontinent, we need another one at least, preferably one each. Sorry to be so negative, when you are all being so caring and helpful. Sad

I hadn't noted Maud's Ultimate Cravatery shot. Wowza, indeed. Now that's what I mean, look at it and say I am right, there is not a trace of Guy there.

SupermassiveLBD · 19/05/2011 22:42

Who is SF going to be, I wonder? Did they cast the Smaugh the Dragon voice yet?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/05/2011 22:49

Nah, Spiro, it's alright. I know most of you lot prefer gentlemen who either shed their shirts, or flourish large swords or even both. Sometimes, I feel a little bit sorry for dear Mr Thornton who, just because he doesn't get his kit off except with me is unfairly neglected.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/05/2011 22:53

::Snort:: at the Superboys', ahem, toilet issues.

There can never be enough cravatery, Massive, in either its original and authentic or its 21st century revisionist form.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/05/2011 23:00

According to an article in Variety which dear, dear, lovely Stephen tweeted - or should that be twinked (tweeted and linked)? - he's to be the Master of Laketown.

Ooh get me and my internet research.

SupermassiveLBD · 19/05/2011 23:14

Thanks Maud, fancy Variety being online too. But obviously it would be

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/05/2011 23:20

You see, twitter does have its uses!

I must bid you tonight, as Captain Wentworth awaits me. See you on the morrow.

SupermassiveLBD · 19/05/2011 23:26

Goodnight, Maud, and goodnight all. MN is misbehaving for me and keeps freezing so I am bound for the arms of Morpheus. Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/05/2011 23:33

::Looks back at you::

So you're calling him Morpheus now, eh?
