Of course, I am violently allergic to cats...

The only picture we have of the Dean is not overly flattering but in my head he looks a little more like this

Come in, enjoy, help yourself to Twiglets.
Yours sincerely, a Fair Trespasser.

MN playing up, for me, nothing for ages and then all of a sudden multiple posts.

The guests have been okay, thanks, Twigs friends of Mr M from his youth -- yes I know it's incredible but he had one. So I can come and escape into the other room while they are chatting watching footy, etc.

Thanks for the YT link, about Spooks 9 Twigs. You are very brave watching it.

DumSpiroSpero · 29/05/2011 22:38

Twigs have you seen they're putting out extra tickets for David Tenant etc in much ado about nothing for Tues & Weds as part of kids theatre week?

SupermassiveLBD · 29/05/2011 22:42

So has no one noticed that the Man said he is leaving NZ for a while. So what does that mean exactly, I wonder? Spiro's' talk of DT and theatre make me think...

Hi Massive - are you all lurgy free now? I've got a horrible sore throat but am fairly certain it's my usual stress/run down thing.

You don't have half term this week do you? Envy

DumSpiroSpero · 29/05/2011 22:46

It's a lovely thought but there was no news on the ETT's website when I checked it a few days ago. I'd imagine he'll be taking a well-earned break with possible a bit of publicity for CA & SB2 thrown in.

I would've thought timing would be prohibitive, although Sir Ian is on stage down the road from me next month.

SupermassiveLBD · 29/05/2011 22:49

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling too well, Spiro. Mr M still seems to be fighting the bug, fingers crossed he's got it licked, otherwise me and the boys are fine now.

No, no half term here, but they break up for summer in a couple of weeks, so don't feel too envious of me!

PasstheTwiglets · 29/05/2011 23:02

LOL at 6.12 thudding, Spiro!!! I didn't know about the Much Ado tickets, no, but we will have spent enough cash this half term. Do you know it costs almost £50 for a family of 4 to get into the Tower of London?!

Sorry you are sore throaty, Spiro. Woudl you like someone to kiss it better?

Night all!

SupermassiveLBD · 29/05/2011 23:05

Nighty night Twigs, What is this 6.12 business, having to MN on the sly so can't get back to YT at the moment,,,

DumSpiroSpero · 29/05/2011 23:09

A couple of weeks?! Do they go back early too?

Am not really poorly as such, just prone to getting the odd apthus sore (giant ulcer) in my throat if I've been overdoing it - nothing lots of fluids & painkillers won't sort out.

And the odd distRAction of course! Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 29/05/2011 23:12

If only Twigs! Not surprised about ToL - I know St Paul's also costs an arm & a leg these days.

Sweet dreams anyway.

DumSpiroSpero · 29/05/2011 23:25

Sorry Massive - didn't see your post. There's a clip of the scene from Spooks 8 where Sarah Caulfield has a gun to Lucas' head, and there's a subtitle (thudding) as Lucas comes on screen.Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 29/05/2011 23:43

Thanks for the clarification re thudding!
am loving your , btw

SupermassiveLBD · 29/05/2011 23:45

Connection playing up like anything! School doesn't go back till September, I keep trying to say! Horrible isn;t it?

DumSpiroSpero · 29/05/2011 23:56

So 3 months off - eek! That must ne quite a challenge.

I think I have rather hijacked this thread - we may have visitors Grin!

BTW - am a bit Confused at your disRAction - is it supposed to be group of v. theatrical women singing, or am I being even more blonde than usual?

SupermassiveLBD · 30/05/2011 00:00

I thought the ladies sounded as if they were serenading your distRAction, you see!

SupermassiveLBD · 30/05/2011 00:05

Oh wooft, I have posted the Post of the Beast again, number 666 Grin

Hello Mrs Danvers, if you are visiting, you are a woman of extreme good taste.

DumSpiroSpero · 30/05/2011 00:27

I thought the ladies sounded as if they were serenading your distRAction, you see!

I thought that might be it. Not naturally totally blonde then. Smile

SupermassiveLBD · 30/05/2011 00:45

It was rather a soppy link even so. But sometimes I just can't help myself. Must go, I have to be up early to wave off the IHGs , with a crocodile tear in my eye.
Night night and sweet dreams, all.

TheSmallPrint · 30/05/2011 08:43

Morning, guess what? I got a lie in til 8am!!!!!!! Grin

Still tired though.

So my post yesterday (which disappeared) notes RAs comments about leaving NZ and I wondered if he were coming back to me blighty. Perhaps a few people have commitments to other projects so they're having a break?

Very subtle thread invasion there Spiro! Grin. Any new acedemics are of course most welcome.

Today I will b ferrying people around so won't be about much, it's so much easier to mess around on here when they are all at work and school. Massive I can't believe you have the boys off for 3 mnths now Shock.

DumSpiroSpero · 30/05/2011 09:15

I think the summer break was scheduled in purposely to allow the actors to work on some other projects and also to give the Hobbit team a chance to do some post-production & special effects on what's already been filmed.

Enjoy your ferrying, Small. I'm going to be having a clearout ready for carboot & eBaying, then a bit of writing hopefully.

TheSmallPrint · 30/05/2011 11:04
DumSpiroSpero · 30/05/2011 13:00

Are you still there Small? Perhaps we need to find something entertaining to keep you occupied?

SupermassiveLBD · 30/05/2011 13:03

We might have missed him., mind you, he may have already travelled back. Or,just suppose he decides to take a nice anonymous holiday. I know, he thinks, no one has heard of me on the Island., I'll be able to stroll about down this nice main thoroughfare and be totally incognito...

DumSpiroSpero · 30/05/2011 13:34

I have just realised that I totally missed the point of Small's Heathrow comment - what a doughnut! I though you were actually there, Small, and that part of the ferrying about you're doing today was actually picking someone up Confused!

Clearly I do not have built-in stalking tendencies (just a very vivid & slightly naughty imagination) Grin

I believe there's still two & a half weeks of filming left so it could be a long wait.

SupermassiveLBD · 30/05/2011 13:46

Spiro, I do hope you realise I would die of embarassment at the mere thought of remotely seeming to stalk someone in RL. Blush

I might just peek from behind a potted palm, though, if he chanced to walk by. If I could be sure no one could tell I was peeking Wink
