Of course, I am violently allergic to cats...

The only picture we have of the Dean is not overly flattering but in my head he looks a little more like this

Come in, enjoy, help yourself to Twiglets.
Yours sincerely, a Fair Trespasser.

Evening all! Have just got DD to bed as we were having a girly night - have been reduced ti tears by the last ever Hannah Montana & Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure.

Time for prosecco & North & South now, methinks.

Lady V I think those are 3 of my fave pics. Have just got in trouble with DD who was my phone wallpaper until about 3 hours ago and has just realised she's been usurped!

Who's up to what for half term then?

Ooooooh, Prosecco & Mr Thornton, how delicious on both counts!

Only half-term plans so far are one day in London (Mon or Tues - not sure what to do) and then Southend the other day. What about you?

DumSpiroSpero · 27/05/2011 22:32

Taking DD to a kids poetry/illustration workshop tomorrow which is part of the Brighton Festival. Will probably have lunch after then a nose round the museum.

Meeting a friend on Thursday with her son (he & DD were born a week apart & get on really well), working Tuesday pm & not sure about the rest yet.

DumSpiroSpero · 27/05/2011 22:51

DumSpiroSpero · 27/05/2011 23:10

how cute is this??!!!

DumSpiroSpero · 27/05/2011 23:12

What's bigger than an IF? Large Hadron Collider?

Whatever, I'm in desperate need of it!

PasstheTwiglets · 27/05/2011 23:15

Oh bless him, Spiro, it's just the sort of face TwigBoy would pull if he found an extra long stick in the park :)

DumSpiroSpero · 27/05/2011 23:25

Night Twigs! Off to give my full attention to Mr Thornton.

DumSpiroSpero · 28/05/2011 08:00

How many more days of half term? Already climbing the walls.

DD up at stupid o'clock & has not stopped moaning/creating mess. Have already had a text from my mum telling me to 'be careful & look after DD' on our day out. We are going 8 miles down the road & I've managed to keep her in one piece for the last 7 years fgs! Angry Confused

PasstheTwiglets · 28/05/2011 08:26

Oh dear, Spiro! How nice of your mum to point out that you need to look after DD - you'd never have thought of it otherwise, would you? I get similarly helpful comments from my dad - "don't let him climb up that ladder, will you?" was yesterday's gem :)

Hope the workshop/festival/thingummy is fun. I'm counting down to food & wine already and it's only 8.30am!

PasstheTwiglets · 28/05/2011 08:29

And I tell you what, it's much harder to diet on the days when it's my turn to get up with the kids - breakfast at 6am means that you're starving for your lunch by 11am and so on...!

How was your night out, Smallio?

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 28/05/2011 09:08

Then had another one saying 'wrap up it's cold out'. Grr!

To be fair there is a bit of background to her being such a worrier & I am usually, if not understanding, then sympathetic. She just doesn't seem to realise that it's actually quite hurtful from my POV. If DD had ever gone missing or been injured on my watch then fair does, but she's still in one piece!

The thing we're going to is with Nick Sharratt so should be really good.

My diet was going well this week until Thursday's Chinese. It comes off quite quickly if I'm really disciplined, but one lapse & the whole lot goes back on with interest Sad.

TheSmallPrint · 28/05/2011 13:00

Afternoon ladies.

Night out was good, back on my old turf but that meant getting back to sticksville quite late. I think I am coming down with Smallboys cold, or perhaps I am just very tired. I'm off out again tonight so will be shattered tomorrow - I'm such a social butterfly!

Spiro, I have two sets of parents that say this kind of stuff, I think it is just built in. They mean no offense but rather showing how much they love you all.

Diet shmiet.

TheSmallPrint · 28/05/2011 13:00

btw, this was very nice, shame it's ruined by that print. What was that weird levitating thing all about Confused ?

PasstheTwiglets · 28/05/2011 13:47

Out tonight as well, what fun!! Hope you don't catch the cold though :( Are the SBs ok?

I know, the levitating pic was awful. You could almost hear the photographer thinking "right, I need to do something different... erm... got it! JUMP!"

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 28/05/2011 13:51

SM Minor has been poorly/snotty but nothing serious. I suspect I am just not used to going out. This is how desperate the situation is - I have nothing to wear for a second night out. Sad

PasstheTwiglets · 28/05/2011 14:24

Are you going out with the same people? If not, wear the same thing!

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 28/05/2011 14:31

can't it's now in the wash!
