Strangers are friends you just haven't met, yet. Even when they are baddies and drive science-fiction-y submarines, wearing a smart grey lounge suit.

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 16:58

oh ffs! why do they put her in a miraclesuit, are they suggesting shes a heffer if not wearing one?

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 16:59

Although I might enter this Wink

SupermassiveLBD · 06/05/2011 17:01

It's certainly a toss-up here as to who looks worse

I am relieved to see you are all right at last, Maud, and not come to a bad end.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 06/05/2011 17:05

That blue miracle suit in the middle looks fabulous, Small. I could swear they've still given the model a healthy helping of Photoshop, even so.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 17:13

On her it does Massive and that's with the help of Photoshop. Us mere mortals are doomed. I was looking at this in the longer length but the reviews aren't great.

PassTheTwiglets · 06/05/2011 17:15

@ 'bad end'!! Oh, I think that's a pretty good end....

'sup, Maud? Has it been bad wooft or just busy wooft? Hope all is well.

Hmmm, this seasons Miraclesuits seem to be either frumpy or tarty and not much in between. The fabrics aren't very nice either. Ho hum, maybe I'll foprget that. Besides, there is the danger of harpooning if I put a swimming costume on anyway...

I have ZERO energy. Can somebody please pop over and do the ironing, hoovering, tidying and everything else that I haven't managed to finish? Oh and if you could cook the exact same meal twice, three hours apart, that would be great (stir-fry so won't be nice reheated). No?

Diet gone very well for 3 days but have just eaten a banana, 3 dried apricots, some cheese (all very healthy but pretty calorific) and 3 miniature gingerbread men. Sigh. Mind you, I have just trampolined with the kids for an hour so that might negate some of the pigging. Mind you, I was mostly sitting down on the trampoline whilst they jumped on me :)

PassTheTwiglets · 06/05/2011 17:18

That blue one is beautiful, Massive but the little pointy bits on the bust would look insane on me. And I bet they'd dig in - ouch! This is the one I was going to get last year, but didn't.

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 17:25

I like that one Twigs, you should have got it. I would definately wear that.

SupermassiveLBD · 06/05/2011 17:44

Lovely swimsuit indeed Twiggy. And of course they are not doing that one again this year. Typical Angry

Re the housework. I feel just the same. I think I shall get a woman in --like my mum used to threaten to get a man in when my dad was neglectful of his DIY duties. I have let things slide so long I don't know where to start.

I like that end immensely myself. I used the word 'bad' in a non-negative, alluring sort of sense.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 06/05/2011 17:51

BTW, that bad end nearly caused me to come to one, Mr M popped his head round the screen to tell me something and I nonchalently tried to close mildly incriminating windows, such as MN, one after the other -- only to leave the leather-clad rear exposed Shock for anyone to see.

Luckily he was too intent on his gossip to notice.

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 06/05/2011 20:10

Is MN itself an offence at Massive Towers then, or is it this particular thread? Yikes anyway, glad you managed to remain on black ops. Re. 'bad' - aha, you are speaking like wot the yoof does!

I did have a cleaner but it was proving too much bother - though I am struggling to keep up now.

That suit is still around on ebay.com and other places Small...

SupermassiveLBD · 06/05/2011 20:25

I am sure MN in itself is quite all right, Twiggy, but I just don't want to draw attention to it in case they want to have a look round, to see what I've been up to. Blush

I know just what you mean about cleaners. A regular one is too much of a pain, but biting the bullet every now and then for the odd day's blitz might work for me.

PassTheTwiglets · 06/05/2011 21:05

Just watching Have I Got News For You with Alexander Armstrong (there's another one for the list, Maud!) and blimey that man has some serious Twiglets!! Although I suppose they are only Twiglets if one fancies a little nibble, so perhaps they don't count.

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 21:06

Twigs where can you get that swimmy? Is it in long length?

Mr Small is out on the razz tonight so I have started Spooks 9

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 21:18

Lucas is a bit of a snotty git to Dimitri at the beginning isn't he? Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 06/05/2011 21:37

Small, you are so brave! I haven't dared order this so far

I had to google AA of course, with my higgerent ex-pat status, and I can see what you mean by the twiglettiness of his ears. But as you said, Twigs, nibbleworthiness is paramount, and I don't think he qualifies.

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 06/05/2011 21:38

I prefer to think of it as masterful (and very sexy!)

DumSpiroSpero · 06/05/2011 21:50

Is anyone else watching Outnumbered? Hilarious! Grin

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 21:55

Aalways sexy Spiro!

Small, I haven't looked for the cossie this year but last year it was on ebay (I think ebay.com rather than .co.uk was better) and several other sites just by Googling "Miraclesuit Sanibel". Enjoy S9! The arsiness to Dimitri - I don't recall but was it the "don't run before you can walk" thing?

Spiro, howdy! I LOVE Outnumbered but haven't watched the repeats. Love little Karen...

LAdiez, can I direct you to this thread? It is the single funniest thing I've ever read on Mumsnet and I'm literally weeing crying with laughter.

PassTheTwiglets · 06/05/2011 22:04

Alexander Armstrong is extraordinarily cute, it must be said

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 22:08

Massive, you know the english language is never that straight forward, think of it like 'i before e except after c' snotty git = masterful and sexy but only when applied to gorgeous people.

HTH Grin

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 22:19

What do you mean 'calm down dear'?!

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 22:21

Right, now I've had my dose of Lucas, I'm off to bed and dreams of stroppy middle aged men masterfulness.
