Strangers are friends you just haven't met, yet. Even when they are baddies and drive science-fiction-y submarines, wearing a smart grey lounge suit.

Such a shame you missed our party too, but Massive did leave a bit of cake lying around.

SupermassiveLBD · 17/05/2011 15:20

Blimey, Small, that cake gave me quite a turn. I know Guy is good enough to eat, but still...

KaraToytown · 17/05/2011 15:21

Kissing and cake!

I'm off for a lie down Thanks everyone - my studies are coming along nicely.

SupermassiveLBD · 17/05/2011 15:22

I see they left off the big sword...

I don't think anyone here would claim to be an expert, Kara, but we have been working diligently through the syllabus. Some of our students are quite exhausted.

SupermassiveLBD · 17/05/2011 15:50

Ah, bless, Maud, I love that pic.

Here is one that gives whole new shades of meaning to the phrase ''Come into the garden...''

I am sure with your horticultural expertise, you will be quite fascinated. with the lushness of his whatever that spikey thing is peering through the patio doors.

SupermassiveLBD · 17/05/2011 15:53

Mau-ud! Where are you hii-ding?

OP posts:
PasstheTwiglets · 17/05/2011 16:01

Massive, did you see that cake last night? (wondering if my post came through).

Twigs, are you feeling yourself today?
no, Lucas is doing it for me

PasstheTwiglets · 17/05/2011 16:02

Is it just me or does he look like he has a touch of conjunctivitis?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/05/2011 16:03

How kind of you to be so solicitous for my welfare, Mr North, but I have promised to take a turn around the garden with my dear friend Claude as I am prepared to overlook his egregious beard.

PasstheTwiglets · 17/05/2011 16:04

Look Massive - he's coming to cut your cake for you

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/05/2011 16:04

Lucas often looks as if he has just been crying, Twiggy. It's, like, his existential angst, innit?

SupermassiveLBD · 17/05/2011 16:04

No, I didnt see a cake last night, Twigs. Was it that one? with the icing even bluer than his eyes?

You are very picky today, was what I was meaning

France Soir

Shock Horreur dans le jardin de M. Monet(35), as rabid squirrel attaches itself to 'is chin

I am loving the cake slice, Twigs, Mrs Bucket would love it for afternoon tea with the vicar.

Funny how the Englsh language has changed since I moved away, I didn't realise 'egregious' was a synonym for tatty, nowadays.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/05/2011 16:27

It hasn't, really, Massive. Those of us with too much time on our hands a classical education know that the word derives from the Latin grex, gregis meaning a crowd and thus standing out from the crowd, but I have noticed that some people now use it to mean conspicuous or ridiculous.

TheSmallPrint · 17/05/2011 16:27

Conjunctivitus?? Shock I think you'll find that it's either tiredness from 'talking' to Maya all night or angst as Maud so rightly pointed out.

PasstheTwiglets · 17/05/2011 16:55

Aha, just looked and my post came through at 21.41 last night, so you may have been missing some posts. I know I missed a few that I didn't see until much later. Anyway, yes it was the same cake - LOL at the icing being bluer than his eyes :)

Ah gotcha about the 'being picky' thing - I thought you meant because I was posting strange pictures. That one of him laughing during RH filming just looked so strange - to see someone who looks like Gizzy laughing so heartily - it made my brain do a little confused flip.

So what about the new home then - any objections to Damerel, or requests for another? I'm happy to set the new place up if you like.

TheSmallPrint · 17/05/2011 17:08

Twigs I saw you post, that's where I pinched the pic from! Grin I'm amazed no-one else saw it, it was quite something to behold.

Damarel is good for me.

SupermassiveLBD · 17/05/2011 17:14

Damerel sounds great to me, kittens and all...

I will check back for the cake post, MN was a Knighmare last night and it was mixing me up summat awful. Guy laughing his socks off is an odd sight I agree. There are some shots of him with a very sunny smile mind you. A pity he's usually smiling at something rather bad.,

Maud, and the prefix e- ex-, meaning 'out of', as you were obviously going to add, before you got distRActed by Mr Thornton's cRAvatical antics.

O tempora! O mores!

OP posts:
PasstheTwiglets · 17/05/2011 17:16

OK, Damerel is it - will give me something to do whilst I deal with the sausages :)

TheSmallPrint · 17/05/2011 17:29

I'm doing meatballs Twigs. Smile

TheSmallPrint · 17/05/2011 17:29

very tasty they are too.

PasstheTwiglets · 17/05/2011 17:34

Yum, Small - enjoy!

TheSmallPrint · 17/05/2011 17:41

Sorry Twigs, doubt there'll be anything left for you tonight. Grin

I don't make anything, far too lazy busy. Everything is shop bought and that's probably why I am broke.
